"The best dog friendly rental we have stayed in so far. The house was clean, the beds comfortable, nicely updated and the rustic decor charming. Scaly mountain is between Highlands NC and Dillard Ga, so close enough either way to enjoy shopping and restaurants but rural enough to feel like you live in the country. Lots of dog friendly hiking trails nearby. Loved the front porch with its swing and cool evenings, and the fire pit. Definitely recommend."

"My family had such a great stay. I was able to stay downstairs with wheelchair access and our friends stayed upstairs. Everything was spotless and the yard with the creek was beautiful. Thank you for the wheelchair access from the car parking too. We will definitely be booking here anytime we are in the area. It was perfect for us!"

"The most beautiful Mountain View, very secluded and perfect on the inside. Very comfortable bedding and soft blankets to rock under on the porch while you sip your coffee and watch the sunset."

"The cottage was exactly as described by the host - relaxing, private, less than 6 miles to dining and shopping in Brevard. Lots of waterfalls and hiking trails nearby. We really enjoyed the outdoor amenities at the cottage - hot tub, movie screen, and mountain views from the deck. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking and there was a gas grill. The host thought of everything we needed to make us feel at home - plenty of towels, bath robes!, throws on the sofa, coffee pods and tea bags, TP...

"Very nice cabin for the 2 of us to stay in! Directions were easy and straight forward, they supplied all the amenities needed, and the cabin was clean and organized. 100% would recommend to friends/family and I'd be happy to stay here again. "
