"The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. The check-in staff and restaurant staff are always friendly and helpful. They do need to replace their window coverings. They are mini blinds and are either bent so there are gaps or they have been cut to make holes. I’ve had to be creative with washcloths and pillows to feel like I have privacy. "This is an older hotel but it’s clean, comfortable and convenient to the lake . The staff were very helpful and so nice. We were just there earlier this month and I accidentally left my toiletries bag on an early morning ck out. Didn’t realize it till at our next destination 5 hrs away. I figured it was lost for good. When I got back home I contacted the inn and ask them to check. To my surprise they had it and were so nice to mail it back to me in NC. Big shoutout to Ana for her help! So nice...

"Our stay at the Tamarack Resort was above and beyond anything we expected. I booked it through Hotels.com and we were blown away by the unit we stayed in - San Miguel 301, if anyone wants to know. Absolutely fabulous!! We were there during off-season so a lot of the shops and restaurants were not open, but we did have dinner at The Reserve and it was wonderful.
