The legendary Rincon Point is a surfer’s dream and it’s right at your doorstep. The area is home to an exclusive enclave of beachfront homes that claims the best local surfer spot and hosts the annual Rincon Classic competition. If you’re more of a low-key vacationer, you’ll be able to see the whales migrate through the Channel, take a dip in the water, then walk fewer than 100 feet inside for a snack. This dream is perfectly located away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to Santa Barbara, Montecito, and Ventura for an excursion.

This 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath bungalow brought to you by Paradise Retreats was built in 1947 and has been a beloved family retreat for decades. Now it’s your turn to enjoy. Each Bedroom offers serene views of the ocean or calming garden courtyard. French Doors throughout open to a surfside patio complete with an outdoor dining area and chaise lounges to watch the sun lower and set at your feet.

The location could not have been more ideal. we walked from the porch to the beach! Our vacation home felt like our real home! It was so welcoming and comfortable. It was our first visit to the area and we received wonderful recommendations of places to dine and visit. We will definitely return!

Great spot!

Sweet and charming old school cottage on the beach with phenomenal access to the best surf break. We loved our time here. The neighborhood is beautifully maintained and neighbors were extra friendly.

Nice, but an older quirky house

Overall, this is a nice well-equipped property-- the terrace is the outstanding feature--but the bathrooms are tiny, the showers teensy, and some of the windows don't stay open unless you prop them up. Luckily we brought our own pillows as the ones supplied were tough foam. The queen sized bed listed in the primary bedroom felt smaller, definitely shorter. A request: please use laundry detergent without scent for those of us with perfume allergies.

Run Down and Funky

Sorry to leave a bad review but this house is dingy and funky. The pictures make it look much nicer than it really is. There is a very musty funky smell in the house that I couldn't wait to leave and I only stayed one night. My husband did not mind. The house is really in need of an update on almost everything, there are too many things for me to list. Best part of house is the beach. Property management company is great, everyone is nice. I travel all the time and have stayed at dozens and dozens of beach homes and understand that it takes a lot of upkeep however this house is not well kept and I would not recommend this home, nor would I ever stay here again. I understand the home is old but I own a historic home and that is not an excuse to keep the house in the condition it is in.

Location location location!

A great beach house right on the sand! Couldn’t ask for better. Paradise folks were absolutely wonderful. Only issue was that house really only has one adult useable shower. Second shower is way too small. So one shower makes things a bit harder. Definitely not a deal breaker. If you’re looking for comfort on the beach this is it!

Rincon point dream

First time using VRBO; great experience. The management company overseeing the stay were awesome. The beach house we rented was everything you would want. The deck the view the weather was perfection. My family and i will be back. Thanks to all who made it so easy and the family who shares their beautiful home with us ❤️

Gorgeous Location

We really enjoyed our stay at Rincon. The house is quaint and older, as described. The location is second to none. We spent all day on the beach and the evenings on the patio! We had such a special vacation with our toddler. It was her first time at the beach and we made memories that will last a very long time!

Classic CA Beach house - ideal location for surfers

Great family trip with 3 teen boys who love the water. One bedroom away from the remaining two for quiet and privacy and a nice gathering area indoors for cooking, dining and vegging. The reason to stay here though is the incredible patio with world class surf out the back steps to play in and to watch. The swell was up the first 5 of 6 days and we just hung around and surfed and watched and relaxed post session. Met tons of nice people on the beach and went for long walks. Really a perfect vacation. It is not a home loaded with modern amenities or a fancy kitchen or a huge TV, but that is not why you want to stay at Rincon anyhow. Have fun!

Excellent ocean views

We could not get enough of waking up every morning and going to sleep every night to the beautiful ocean sounds. This house is conveniently steps from the beach. Lots of supplies to make your stay pleasant. Thank you very much , we look forward to coming back

Most adorable house/amazing location

What a great house - charming vintage 3 bed/ 2 bath. Beautiful private yard, amazIng beach front. The pre-teens had a great time with the board games, corn hole and the ocean. Well stocked kitchen. And it sounds silly since most guests will visit during the summer but the heating system is fantastic. The nights were chilly, but we were warm. Just lovely. wish we could go back again but this house is booked up forever - with good reason!

Long Weekend with The Queen

This was the perfect spot for a family getaway and while the waves were small there were still some good rides to be had and its all worth while when you can paddle out with a pod of dolphins. Highly recommend the Rincon Retreat for some classic California surf and relaxation.
