"This is a great beachy cottage within walking distance of the beach. Great location and the hosts were communicative. Note that air conditioning is not central air, but rather portable units, one of which gave us quite a bit of trouble during our stay. We were never able to get hot water in the shower, it was either lukewarm or cold. No hot water in the kitchen either. Note that the bed in the main house cannot be separated into two twins as the site indicates."

The Santa Barbara house was ideal for our family including grandkiddos & the amenities were extensively amazing…just about anything you could think of, it was provided. Very comfortable & nicely decorated with a large game room. So close to the beach & the pier is about a 20 minute walk away. We absolutely loved our Santa Barbara family vacation! When we arrived the beds were not made (as in someone had slept in them) and were not washed (you could see body imprints on the pillows and bedding. The bathroom and kitchen were filthy and there was trash in all of the trashcans. "The house was smaller than advertised. One bed had not been changed. The sheets had the outline of bodies laying on them, the towels were also folded and put away not washed, and the curtains were too light and it was difficult to sleep. The other two rooms were fine. There wasn’t any salt, pepper or seasonings to cook with and many amenities missing. The location was great and we walked to restaurants to eat instead of cooking."
