Composed of luxury amenities and unforgettable views, this palm-lined property will become your very own private oasis. Under the sunshine, lounge with your loved ones on the warm lanai. Fire up the gas grill and host a delicious barbecue, or head into town and grab a local treat. While you're exploring Captain Cook, be sure to visit Kealakekua Bay State Historical Park, Kona Country Club, Ho‘Okena Beach Park, and of course, all of the stunning beaches.



    Continue to enjoy tantalizing views back at Manini Beachfront Getaway. The living room is composed of vaulted ceilings, large doors, and cool flooring. Sit back and stream your favorite shows with ease or simply visit with your loved ones about your upcoming itinerary.



    Sure to delight any chef, the full kitchen displays stainless steel appliances, ample meal prep space, and a sizable breakfast bar. Your home-cooked meals are best enjoyed on the lanai, alfresco.



    The home's four bedrooms are equally inviting, all decorated with nods to tropical living and high-quality linens. Off the primary bedroom, you'll have access to an extra large en suite bathroom. A private washer/dryer ties together the interior amenities.

Beautiful view and comfortable home

The view is beyond amazing. The landscaping is so beautiful and we loved the frogs and geckos. The location is unmatched and the Manini Beach Park just a few steps away is all you need for a perfect vacation. Sunsets every night!

The most beautiful location and view of the bay from the lounge. The house was well equipped with everything you could need. We had such a great time on the island, even got to see an erupting volcano (very blessed with the timing of that on our trip) Dolphins, turtles, and ray in the bay. AWESOME

Paradise getaway

Walking distance from a private beach, overlooking the ocean, this paradise getaway proved to be even more magical than its pictures represent. In a quiet, tucked-away hamlet, my family enjoyed the proximity to the Volcano Park, the black and white sand beaches, and then coming home to this spacious yet charming abode. The pantry and kitchen were well-stocked. I also appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella and mat for our excursions.

Gorgeous home and location

Fantastic home and location in Captain Cook. Felt like we were in a treehouse on the bay. Well appointed home and kitchen with everything you could need. Incredible views and spacious enough for 6 adults and one kid to do everything we wanted. Plenty of fans to keep the house cool and we truly had a magical stay!

Great location & view! Loved seeing the whales & dolphins from our front lanai & just a short walk to see amazing sunsets. Granddaughters got quite a kick out of watching the house geckos & even named them!

Highly recommend this place. Beautiful house overlooking the bay. Very short distance to beach park with incredible snorkeling. Has a local vibe after driving down very curvy road to the bottom of mountain.

Great house

The house was wonderful. The decor made you feel like you are in Hawaii. Snorkeling out front is excellent. The kitchen was very well equipped. Beautiful location. We hope to stay there again.

New Year's Holiday

Our holiday home on Kealakekua Bay met more than muster for our family of 6 ranging in age from 5-79. The house was pristine and furnished all desired amenitites. We had a direct view of the bay through wide, open, living room doors and lanai, and a short walk to the snorkeling area at Manini Beach. As Midwesterners, we could not have hoped for a more "exotic" Hawaiian experience.Highly, highly recommend.

View from deck is better than the pics. There is also a back deck with private garden view. Great snorkeling from the house. Super chill part of the island.

Great Hawaiian experience!

Close beach access just a few min walk away!! Made it really easy to get other go for the day or go back and fourth to the house through the day! Beautiful sunsets! Very relaxing!

What could be better than waking up to a beautiful view of K- bay ? This home has everything you need to enjoy a sojourn in Hawaii. We’ve stayed in the bay several times, and loved this the most for its indoor/ outdoor walls & view. Hope to stay again! 🏖😊

We LOVED this house! It isn't 'fancy' - but the location is unbeatable. We spent most of our time on the lawn or on the beach - or sitting in a tide pool (at low tide) with a beer. The snorkeling was better than on our booked snorkeling tours. The house is very well equipped and very comfortable. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Great spot on the bay

The house was just what we needed - clean and comfy, close to the water, great views. We used the kayaks a few times and that was a highlight of the trip - we'd have used them daily if the weather had been calmer. Really enjoyed the opportunity to get into the water right from the house. Owner was communicative and helpful. Thanks!

Beautiful quiet cove, & not touristy

There are beautiful areas to ride the bikes & great kayaking & snorkeling. Home is quiet & has an incredible open feel & ocean breezes that flow through the house when you open the large glass doors. We enjoyed our breakfast on the back patio while planning our adventures for the day, surrounded by lush green & beautiful flowers. Enjoyed a glass of wine at the end of the day on the front Lanai watching the waves crash on shore. A rare and beautiful home.

Sanctuary!

Embrace the experience of this property. We didn’t turn the tv on once. We kayaked and snorkeled and swam with the spinner dolphins. Loved this property and can’t wait to come back!!🦎🌴🌺🐠

Great home in quiet, beautiful location

Tucked into a quiet neighborhood on a single lane road fronting a marine preserve with great snorkeling and kayaking just outside the door. Comfortable and thoughtfully furnished, a short drive to great food and a large market, kitchen is ready for cooking. Kayaks, snorkel gear and bikes provided for use are all in great shape. Perfect if you want time away from crowds and are interested in local history. Farmer's Market up the road on Saturdays. We will definitely come back!

Snorkeling Paradise

A beautiful view of the bay. A comfortable house with great amenities. It had just about everything we could ask for. A quiet neighborhood, we could hear the surf crashing at night. The owner was helpful with info about local activities. It was a short walk to 3 really good snorkeling spots. Short kayak trip across the bay to a great snorkeling spot, Capt. Cook. Short drive to another great snorkeling spot, Two Step. I would stay here again.

Amazing Experience!

First time staying in a VRBO. Wonderful experience. The home was beautiful, the location amazing. Oceanfront views out the front, with dolphins each morning in the bay. Jungle and tropical atmosphere in the back. A perfect escape! Very private and quiet (except for the birds each morning -lol!) Property was well-maintained and very clean. Communication with the property manager via text was very convenient and they replied very quickly to my questions. I would definetly go back to this property!

Wonderful Home to Escape To

We loved our stay in this house--it is a great location right across the street from the Bay. We were lucky to swim with dolphins in the bay several times. The house is convenient to most locations including the Volcanoes and the North Shore beaches. We did not venture to Hilo as it was raining there most of our trip while it was beautiful every day in Captain Cook. The house is very well equipped and we enjoyed the kayaks quite a bit. The owner was responsive to our needs and we could not have been happier. We never wanted to leave!

Rick's house on Kealakekua Bay is spacious and beautiful. It is well designed, immaculate and it has everything you need for a great vacation. The old school Hawaiian style beach is a short walk down the road for swimming and relaxing . The house has great views of the bay, sunsets, the surf and even the Captain Cook monument across the bay. The area is full of Hawaiian history and archaeological monuments. It is well located right next to the bay with a great market at the top of the hill and a couple quaint villages near by for dining. I would definitely go back here. Thanks Rick! It was an easy relaxing week!

Great location and home

We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at the Manini Beachfront Getaway. The location was perfect for accessing some of the best snorkeling on the island and the views were impeccable. The house was stocked with the essentials (and a few fun nonessentials like art supplies and outdoors equipment!) and clean upon arrival. For the one appliance that we did have issues with during our stay, Maintenance was fantastic and so easy to work with. Thank you! Our stay was unforgettable. To all those who do consider booking in the future, do keep in mind that there’s no AC. It can get quite warm sometimes on the island, but fortunately they have an assortment of fans!
