Raithbury Hill House

Welcome to this hidden gem adjacent to Keermont Vineyards in the Upper
Blaauwklippen Valley. Raithbury Hill House offers guests beautiful
views of the vineyards, gardens, and mountains, which creates a
peaceful atmosphere perfect for a holiday getaway. This home is
approximately 20 minutes’ drive from Stellenbosch and borders Keermont
Vineyards, a family-owned wine estate that consists of more than 100
hectares of indigenous fynbos and 30 hectares of vineyards. The main
house and adjacent cottage are rented together as one property, making
it suitable for families or groups wanting extra space, privacy, and a
quiet countryside escape.

The house and cottage can together accommodate up to eight guests
across four en-suite bedrooms. The main house features one bedroom with
a king-size bed and another with a queen-size bed. It also has two
bathrooms for guests’ convenience. The first bathroom has a shower,
bath, toilet, and double basin, while the second bathroom features a
shower, bath, washbasin, and toilet.

The separate cottage includes one queen-size bedroom and a second
bedroom with two three-quarter beds. This setup gives guests lots of
space while keeping everyone together. It also features two bathrooms.
Both bathrooms are fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin.
Everything you need for your holiday is provided, including linen and
towels.

In the main house, you will find an inviting living area that features
an indoor fireplace, cosy seating, and large windows that let in lots
of natural light, creating a bright and airy feel. The dining area
gives guests a welcoming space to enjoy meals together, while the fully
equipped kitchen comes with two electric ovens and hobs. The AGA oven
is ornamental. The cottage also features its own kitchen with an
electric oven and gas hob, giving larger groups more flexibility during
their stay.

The property opens onto a private garden overlooking the surrounding
mountains and vineyards. The outdoor swimming pool is ideal for warm
days, while the private patio and gas BBQ grill are great for outdoor
meals. Guests can also explore the vineyards on foot and enjoy the
peaceful scenery of the estate.

Raithbury Hill House also consists of a private dedicated workspace,
washing machine, and private entrance. An inverter offers backup power
for the Wi-Fi, TV, fridge, and selected lights, so guests can stay
connected when needed. This property is a perfect choice for families
or groups of friends that want to immerse themselves in the surrounding

For security and safety purposes, guests are required to provide full names, identification, details of any children travelling, vehicle registrations, and estimated arrival times prior to check-in. This information will be treated confidentially, and failure to submit it on time may result in delayed or denied check-in.

Please note that, unfortunately, Raithbury Hill House is not suitable for infants or children under the age of 12.

All our properties are strictly non-smoking, and tenants accept full liability for all minors and visitors. Pets, parties, and events are not permitted.

For stays of 8 nights or more, a complimentary mid-stay clean, including fresh linen, will be provided. Additional cleaning services can be arranged upon request with a minimum of 24 hours' notice and will incur an extra charge.

A standard key and breakage deposit is payable before check-in. This amount depends on the standard of the establishment and may be changed at the owner’s/management’s discretion.

Please be advised that, to promote a sustainable and comfortable experience for all our guests, electricity usage is governed by a fair use policy that permits a reasonable amount of daily consumption. In the rare event of unusually high usage, a reimbursement may be requested.

A late check-in fee of R250 applies for arrivals between 21:00 and 00:00, payable in cash directly to the property host upon arrival. For arrivals after 00:00, a fee of R350 will apply.

The Property Manager will arrange a check-in time with guests to meet at the property, which is situated at Raithbury Hill House, Keermont Vineyards, Blaauwklippen Road, Stellenbosch, 7600.

The Property Manager will hand the keys to the guest and share with them knowledge about the apartment and surroundings including the house rules.
