Seaview Suite is a bright 3-bedroom in Campbell River with a striking blue brick fireplace, 65` Smart TV, and a telescope for spotting ships and wildlife. Grill on the BBQ, gather around the fire pit, or unwind after a day fishing or hiking Elk Falls.

Your hosts are lifelong locals — Dave has guided sport fishing here for 40+ years.

Three bedrooms sleep six — a king in the primary (with its own half-bath ensuite), and queen beds in the second and third bedrooms. The open-concept main floor flows from the living room through the dining area to a fully renovated kitchen, with large windows pulling in natural light and views of the deck and trees beyond.

The living room centers on a floor-to-ceiling navy blue brick fireplace with local art above — the kind of feature you`ll want to photograph. A large leather sectional faces the 65` Smart TV (streaming apps available — bring your login). There`s a desk nook by the window for remote work, with fast WiFi (866 Mbps).

The kitchen has white beadboard cabinets, stainless appliances, and a wood-topped breakfast island that seats three. A Keurig and drip coffee maker sit on their own dedicated station — K-cups and coffee grounds are provided. You`ll find a full spice kit, new cookware, blender, toaster, and everything you need to cook in.

The dining table seats four, with a telescope positioned at the window for cruise ship and wildlife watching. An antique cabinet beside it is stocked with board games for quieter evenings. There`s also a Margaritaville margarita maker — it`s as fun as it sounds.

Outside, the elevated deck is the showpiece. Dining for six under a market umbrella, a fire pit with lounge chairs, and a gas BBQ — all with panoramic views of the ocean, mountains, and the park below. The washer and dryer are in-unit, and the home has central air conditioning and heating throughout.

The entire upper floor is yours — living room, kitchen, dining area, three bedrooms, bathrooms, deck, and the fenced side area for bike and gear storage. The homeowners reside in the lower-level suite, which is accessed by a separate entrance. The stairway to the lower level is clearly marked as private.

We typically don`t interact with guests directly but are happy to follow your lead. We`re always available via messaging if you need anything during your stay.

Campbell River is Vancouver Island`s gateway to the wild — the `Salmon Capital of the World` with orcas, humpbacks, and greys in the waters just offshore. The property sits in a quiet residential neighborhood with panoramic views of the Strait of Georgia and the Coast Mountains — the entire western horizon opens up. Sunrises light up the sky over the water, and cruise ships pass through the strait, visible from the deck and through the dining room telescope.

Five minutes to Rotary Beach Park and the Campbell River waterfront. Eleven minutes to downtown Campbell River, the Discovery Pier, and the museum. Thirteen minutes to Elk Falls Provincial Park and its iconic suspension bridge. Forty minutes to Mount Washington for skiing in winter or mountain biking in summer.

Whale watching tours depart from Discovery Harbour (May–October). Willow Point has cafes, restaurants, and local shops. Thirty minutes to the Comox Valley`s farm-to-table dining and craft breweries.

A ten-minute ferry ride takes you to Quadra Island for kayaking, Indigenous cultural experiences, and Rebecca Spit Provincial Park.

Free parking on-site — one covered carport space plus room for two more vehicles directly behind. Street parking is also available. The property is on a residential street with easy access to main roads. Most attractions in Campbell River are a short drive — this is a car-friendly town. For those without a vehicle, a BC Transit bus stop (S Alder & Frances) is a 5-minute walk from the property.

This is a split-level home. Your suite is the entire upper floor — a separate living space with its own entrance, kitchen, and deck. The homeowners live in the lower-level suite below and may be present during your stay. Sound does carry between floors, so this is a quiet household — if your plans include a celebration or a group event, this likely isn`t the right fit for your stay.

The property is 420-friendly — smoking is permitted on the deck only, using the provided ashtray. No smoking of any kind inside the home. The homeowners occasionally use cannabis on their lower balcony. If you have any concerns about this, please let us know before check-in and they will take precautions to ensure it doesn`t affect your stay.

There is one exterior Ring camera for security purposes. It monitors the entrance area only — no interior cameras, no audio recording.

The homeowners have a friendly dog who lives in the lower-level suite and fenced yard area. The dog does not have access to the guest areas. No guest pets are permitted.

Guests must climb a short flight of stairs from the carport entrance to reach the main living floor.

Quiet hours are observed between 9 PM and 9 AM — come and go as you like, just keep noise down during those hours, including music and conversation on the deck.

Refundable Damage Deposit
A $500 refundable damage deposit will be held on your credit card during your stay and released within 5 business days after checkout, provided no damages occur.

Rental Agreement & Check-In Form
You`ll receive a short-term rental agreement and check-in form to sign electronically after booking. The check-in form is used for ID verification to prevent fraudulent bookings. Both are quick and secure to complete.
Please sign at least 48 hours before check-in to avoid cancellation. If you`d like to review the agreement before booking, just ask.

Exterior Cameras
For your safety, an exterior camera monitors the entrance and carport. It is motion-activated and strictly for outdoor use.

Cancellation Fee
A 5% cancellation fee (as shown in cancellation policy) is charged on all bookings to cover payment processing fees.

- Please do not use candles in the suite
- No pets
- The downstairs residence is private and not part of this booking; please do not attempt to access it
- Please leave garbage bagged outside the suite entrance — the owners take care of disposal
