"This is one of the best places that I have ever stayed; the rooms are clean with tons of character. I love the style and the history of the place. There is a yard with a large outdoor kitchen and other fun games and stuff. Great for the kiddos! I'd like to find a reason to go back to the area just so that I can stay at this place again! And the American River is just right down the road (if you don't mind driving a gravel road). Love it and would definitely recommend! "

"My husband and I traveled here from Arizona to visit our kids and grandkids and celebrate our newest grandchild’s first birthday. Our family loved all the games & activities in a beautiful, thoughtfully appointed cabin & setting, making memories that will last a lifetime. Our conversations around home cooked meals and in front of the huge river rock fireplace were topped off only by the gently falling snow, visible from the numerous tall windows. It was all quite breathtaking!"

"This home was amazing. The house truly fits it’s name. The scenery is breathtaking with views of the lake and river. The location was perfect with short distances to near by hikes and water sources, but also just minutes away from shopping and restaurants. The house had everything we needed.
