Trash Removal: Please put trash cans on the curb Thursday evening for Friday morning pickup, and bring them back to the right side of the home after pickup.

No Parties / Unregistered Guests
Parties are strictly prohibited. If a party occurs, we may cancel the reservation and ask you to leave.

Occupancy: Maximum 6 people on the property at any time, including daytime visitors, per our El Dorado County short-term rental permit. Only the guests on the reservation may stay overnight. Please book with your full guest count and check with us before inviting visitors.

Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Please refrain from any gatherings or outdoor noise after 10 PM in respect of our neighbors.

Hot Tub: The hot tub closes at 10:00 PM per county ordinance. Shower before use; no oils or soaps. Children 14 & under must have adult supervision at all times. No pets in the hot tub. Plastic dishware/cups only, no glass. Please don`t remove the bromine tablets. After use, put the lid back on to keep dirt out and heat in. Do not turn off the hot tub when checking out. Swim at your own risk.

Check-Out: Check-out is before 11:00 am. Late checkout isn`t available; if you need more time, message us before your checkout day. Please let us know the time you plan to check out so we can pass it on to the housekeepers. Before you leave, please put used dishes in the sink, gather used towels, sort trash and recycling into the indoor bins, turn off lights and the AC/heat, and lock up.

Restrooms: We kindly request that only toilet paper be flushed down the toilet. Wet wipes, including those labeled as flushable, should not be flushed as they can clog the sewer system.

Food Items: Please refrain from disposing of food in the garbage disposal.

Smoking: Our house is a non-smoking home. No smoking or vaping of cigarettes or weed inside the house.

Candles: We do not allow candles in the home, this is a fire hazard.

Damage: We understand that accidents happen. Please let us know when something is broken so that we can replace or repair it. There is a stain remover under the sink in the kitchen for the carpet and bedding.

Pets: Up to 2 pets are welcome; please include them in your booking (the pet fee is charged at booking) and let us know before your stay. Pets must be fully potty trained and are not allowed on any furniture, including the beds. Please clean your pet`s feet if they are muddy, keep unused bedroom doors closed, and pick up after your pet in the yard. Pets are not to be left alone at the home.


Lost Items: Please do not forget anything in the home. We cannot package and ship things that are left behind.

Utilities: We kindly ask that you switch off lights and turn off AC/heater when not in the home.

Please do not unplug anything in the home. It is difficult for the next guest if lamps are unplugged, and there are items in the home that operate the door lock and doorbell. If you don`t know what it is, do not unplug it. Do not unplug the wireless router or modem or it will shut down the door lock and you may get locked out.

August Smart Lock: The lock locks the door after 30 minutes of inactivity. This prevents the home from being left unlocked when guests leave.

Landscaper/Pool Technician
Landscaper & Pool Technician typically arrive Friday mornings and will walk into the backyard unannounced.

Cameras
We have Ring Video Doorbell cameras installed at the front door, and right side of the home. This is for the safety of our guests and to prevent parties and theft. There are no cameras inside the home or in the back yard.
Wash any used dishes and start the dishwasher (we`ll put them away).
Start a load of towels (we`ll switch them to the dryer).
