"Very good"

"Room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. Furniture was looking tired. Breakfast was good as was the bar menu. However, the very old lift did not work - not a problem for me but others may struggle with the stairs. In the bathroom the water pressure was very low and the drainage from the basin was slow."

"The standard double room was much smaller than expected, and the bed was two singles pushed together with a thin double topper, which made the bed very uncomfortable and lumpy. We told reception after the first night and they arranged for a better topper to be put on. If the standard double was this small then the small double must have been tiny. The bathroom was a good size though. Rooms are only cleaned if specifically requested at reception the night before. This wasn't made clear - there...
