"We had such a lovely stay at Langley Castle Hotel. The staff were genuinely warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived and made the whole experience feel really special. We stayed in the Percy Room, which was full of charm and character while still being very comfortable. Staying in an actual castle was such a unique experience. "A lovely stay in a beautiful part of the world. We stayed in one of the accessible rooms, so can’t comment on the other accommodation, but our room was clean, if a little dated. The real positives were the staff, genuinely lovely and welcoming – along with excellent food and a great selection of local beers on tap. We also enjoyed chatting with some fellow guests who were repeat visitors, which says a lot about the place. Overall, a relaxed and friendly hotel in a fantastic location, and...

"The bar was well stocked great pub atmosphere. Our twin room was lovely and spacious. Beds were comfy. Host were friendly left us in peace. The back door was easy quick exit for leaving. There is room for improvement on the corridor to the stairs of our room. Overall would happily stay again. Did not try the food."

"Staff and food excellent. Booked a Superior Double room at £172, unfortunately we got a family room with a single bed and what looked like a Queen bed. Black mould on the bathroom ceiling and a light hanging out, bare wires above the bedroom mirror, heating was not on and we came back to a cold room, had to get the staff to sort the heating out, and although there is tea and coffee in the room with a kettle, there was no milk provided and so we could not make a cuppa in the morning."

"A beautiful cottage in a secluded area with lovely views of surrounding hills and forest. The photos dont do it justice, it is much bigger in reality. It is very well equipped, and beds very comfortable with spotless linen. Even in cold weather, the cottage has more than enough radiators and a very efficient log burner to keep you warm.
