"Pros: clean, comfy bed, good pub restaurant and coffee on site, easy parking, fridge and microwave, nice river view, very friendly staff
Cons: front desk/help is only open 9-5, our room keys needed recoding daily for some reason and since front office was closed by 5 it was a rigmarole trying to get the keys updated through the bar staff, the dock in the photos was locked shut so you couldn’t actually go on it, the ice machine room was locked all the time, air con didn’t work so room was...

"The property is super quaint with lovely touches. The best thing was the delicious English breakfast. It was so unique. Two years ago they had the best hot chocolate I have EVER tasted. Sadly, they didn’t have it this year. We were told they only have it during the hot chocolate festival which was held in January and February. We were confused because we were there in April last year as well as this year."

"What a beautiful little gem! Very quaint historical manor with lots of history. Rebecca the Innkeeper was so sweet. She made the stay that much more incredible. She is very kind, helpful and an amazing chef. Her breakfasts were a great way to start the day. She made us feel so at home. Will definitely return next yr. If you have the time walk up the back trails to the waterfall. Beautiful. Thanks Rebecca. Hope to see you again next yr! "
