"Perfect little house! My kids and I needed a place to stay while touring some local colleges. Beds were very comfortable, amenities worked perfectly, and parking was easy. Only about 30 minutes from Newport, so we'll definitely be back for weekend trips!"

"We absolutely LOVE this property! This was my husband and I’s 2nd stay here and it was just as amazing this time as it was the first! Listening to the bird sanctuary and Tree Frogs at night on the little back deck was great and weirdly, calming. My husband’s favorite thing…..the outside shower! The Cottage had everything we needed and was comfy cozy! The upkeep and cleanliness were on point! We will we back!!! "

"We spent mornings on the deck drinking coffee and taking in the quiet water views and evenings watching the sunset. It was a lovely escape but still close enough to walk into the charming town.Very clean and contemporary feeling space with much more than you’d typically find in a rental. More like staying in your friend’s nice apartment than in a bare bones rental property."

"The house was big enough for the 3 of us. Cute little house, had every thing you needed. The private beach is rocky but so quiet and peaceful. The trolley did take up part of the view, but what a great of piece of history to see. We enjoyed our stay."

"Prudence island is a one of a kind place. The dock and mooring are perfect for our boat. We spent our days riding bikes, boating to Bristol, going to the lighthouse beach, and picking blueberries on the farm. The cottage is always a perfect home base during our stay!"

"We loved our stay at Peaceful Long Pond Cottage — peaceful is the best word to describe the energetics of the home. Such a beautiful blend of cozy with modern amenities that made our stay feel like a giant exhale - even with four kids. We loved the kayaks, deck (amazing sunsets over the lake), small beach, games, hammocks, and outdoor shower. "

"I cannot give this home enough stars...truly excellent. Scott is an attentive gem of a man. He even brought us firewood :) A quiet property with GREAT neighbors; we met them all. One couple came over with a baked banana bread & we sent her home with a flounder dinner ! The house was sparkling clean & welcoming. The mattress & pillows in the bedroom are a dream, as is the L shaped couch with the GIANT television. There are 4 kayaks!!! Be prepared with water shoes that are good on rocks/mud...
