The Space:

Birdsong Haven by Tiny Away is a peaceful farm stay just 44 minutes from Brisbane, located in Logan Village. The tiny home is surrounded by kangaroos, wallabies, and native birds, giving you a true countryside experience. Enjoy peaceful views of the paddock and dam while you relax and enjoy nature.



Nearby, you can visit Mount Tamborine, Cedar Creek Falls, and the Logan River Parklands. For more adventure, explore the Scenic Rim, known for its farm-to-table food experiences, as well as local galleries, museums, and more.



This cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette with cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, a hand basin, and gas-heated shower.



IMPORTANT NOTE: The tiny house is located 100 meters from the main house and 300 meters from the main road.



Guest Access:

Guests can access the tiny home, a large open fire pit, and our gardens and wide-open paddocks. The pool and home gym are shared facilities available to all guests.

The Neighborhood:

Birdsong Haven by Tiny Away is located in Logan Village, a place that combines natural bushland with a friendly community. The area has many parks, open spaces, and a mix of older and newer holiday homes. Locals enjoy golf courses at Windaroo Lakes Golf Club, walking trails at Berrinba Wetlands, and cultural sites like Mayes Cottage and the Logan Village Museum.



For adventure, there’s a skatepark, the Skywalk, and hot air ballooning at Mt Tamborine. Good highways connect Logan Village to Brisbane, Ipswich, and the Gold Coast, making it easy to explore nearby cities.



Explore nearby attractions like Mt Tamborine, known for its rainforest skywalk, and waterfalls. Visit peaceful Cedar Creek Falls or enjoy family-friendly playgrounds at Broadwater and Logan River Parklands.



Getting Around:

By Car:



- From Virginia Way, Brisbane is approximately 48 km away, taking about 45 minutes.

- The Gold Coast is around 60 km away, with a travel time of approximately 50 minutes.



By Public Transport:



- Taxis and ride-share services are available. Public transport options are limited.



By Flight:



- Brisbane Airport is the closest major airport, located approximately 55 km away, with a drive time of around 50 minutes.

- The Gold Coast Airport is about 75 km away and takes roughly 1 hour by car.



Other Things to Note:

- The track to the Tiny Home is unsealed and natural. Guests can mark at the top of the track and walk approximately 50m to the building.

- Wi-Fi is available but may be unreliable, especially during bad weather.

- Bottled water for a fee

- Filtered tank water available

- Gas BBQ grill available 


- No parties on the property 


- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed 


- No smoking in indoor areas, except in designated areas

- Mobile reception is good for Telstra and Optus; others are weak

- Please dispose of waste properly using designated bins for recycling and rubbish 


- We would like to advise guests that later check-outs will incur an additional charge 


- Please turn off all electronics, close the windows, and lock the doors when you leave

- You may hear some occasional vehicle noise as property is large

- Our young grandson lives here, so you might hear family sounds sometimes. We aim to keep the atmosphere peaceful and appreciate your understanding.



Important note: 





- BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban 


- Kangaroos, wallabies, and various birds are present. Please don’t feed them.

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure cleanliness for all guests.
