"A large, authentic log cabin with plenty of room and comfortable beds. We especially loved the front dining room with windows looking outover the lake and the patio/firepit.Briar Lake is a small, shallow lake with weeds and moderate clarity, so it wasn't ideal for swimming, but the kids and grandkids enjoyed the paddleboards....and the sauna was a nice feature.Great communication and very easy check-in and check-out. Very nice to have a washer/dryer and dishwasher."

"The property was in great condition, very comfortable with all the necessary amenities. It rained a good part of our stay, so mostly stayed on site. But the covered gazebo was perfect for reading and lounging, and as an avid bird watcher I enjoyed walking around the property, as there are so many birds in the trees! It is close to plenty of state parks, and Dave provided a good list of things to do. Very close to a general store in Finland if you are short on supplies. The creek running through...
