Escape to the Gooseberry Trailside Suites, a four-plex with four individual two-bedroom, one-bath apartments perfectly positioned for an unforgettable North Shore getaway. The Knife is the bottom unit on the right side of the building facing the Lake. This quaint apartment is located next to great trails, multiple rivers, the majestic shores of Lake Superior, and of course Gooseberry Falls, this retreat offers incredible access to outdoor adventures. You can hike or ski directly from the property. Inside, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen with a dining room table, ideal for home-cooked meals, and a cozy living room featuring a wood-burning fireplace to warm up after a day of exploration. Step outside to enjoy a shared fire pit for stargazing or unwind in the 10-person sauna, making this the ultimate haven for relaxation and recreation.

Please keep in mind that this unit is part of a four-plex so you will likely hear other guests above or beside your unit. We asked that all guests follow our house rules and abide by the 10pm-8am quiet hours.

Please note when you book this unit you are only booking the one unit not the entire four-plex, please reach out to us if you would like to reserve more than one unit. Guests will have shared access to the sauna and fire pit.

This property is dog-friendly, specific rules regarding pets at the property are as follows: Please keep pets off all furniture and be sure to be on a leash at all times when outside of the home. Also be sure to clean up after your pet and dispose of waste in the trash bins located outside of property. Please respect neighbors by limiting the barking of pets on the property; A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed at the property; the pet fee is $75/dog and an additional $75/dog will be added per week for extended reservations. All mention of pets denotes DOGS ONLY, no other pets are permitted. Any property damages caused by pets will be assessed and may be charged at the discretion of management.
