  • Welcome to the Grafton Apartments by My Getaways – a stylish set of boutique city apartments, sleeping up to 12 guests and located in the heart of Kemptown, Brighton. These smart, character-filled homes are perfect for couples, friends, families or professionals looking for a memorable stay in a prime location. This collection includes apartments such as Grafton Copper, Driftwood, Rustic, Suite and Woodshack — each uniquely styled but all sharing that fantastic seaside-city convenience.

    Whether you’re planning a beach break, a weekend escape, or a working-away stay, Grafton Apartments offer style, location and ease. The building is accessed via stairs (no lift), so this is worth noting if mobility is a consideration.

    Just a 5-minute stroll from Brighton’s seafront, Grafton Apartments offer the ideal mix of comfort, convenience, and location, making it the perfect base for your Brighton getaway.


    Bedroom / Living Area

    Each Grafton Apartment creates a cosy open-plan space that’s perfect for relaxing after a day exploring Brighton. The living and sleeping area features comfy beds and a Smart TV with free WiFi, so you can unwind by streaming your favourite shows through Netflix or Prime (just log in with your own account). A coffee machine is included in every apartment for those all-important morning pick-me-ups, along with complimentary tea, coffee, salt, and pepper — please help yourself.

    Each apartment offers a handy kitchenette area with a microwave, kettle, mini fridge, cookware, glassware, crockery, and cutlery, making it simple to prepare or heat light meals and snacks. For guests staying in Grafton Woodshack, you’ll enjoy the added benefit of a fully equipped kitchen.

    Grafton Copper: boasts a walk-in shower with a separate bath, double sink, mirror and toilet.
    Grafton Driftwood: Situated on the upper level, and separate (but private and lockable), shower-over-bath, sink, mirror and toilet.
    Grafton Rustic: walk-in shower with a separate bath, sink, mirror and toilet.
    Grafton Suite: freestanding roll-top bath, walk-in shower, bespoke vanity basin, and toilet
    Grafton Woodshack: shower over bath, toilet, and basin
    We provide plenty of bath towels, hand towels and bath mats.


    Set in Kemptown’s colourful streets, the building houses five self-contained apartments with modern Scandinavian décor and homemade wooden furniture. Each modern is uniquely styled with light, airy interiors and contemporary touches. Whether you book one apartment or take over the whole house for your group, you’ll enjoy the same comfort, convenience, and prime location.


    IN ADDITION


    There is an iron, an ironing board and a hairdryer for guests to use in each apartment.
    Late check-out fee - £50+VAT per half hour unless a late check-out has been agreed upon in advance

    The apartments are not pet-friendly.
    This accommodation has stairs and may not be suitable for guests with disabilities or limited mobility; there is no elevator in the building. There are 3 steps to enter the building and 66 up to the front door on the 3rd floor, and 14 stairs down to the lower ground floor.

    Our Guest Promise

    We want you to arrive at a spotless home. If anything has been missed with the cleaning, please let us know straight away, and we will put it right as a priority. If we are unable to resolve it on the same business day, we will offer to move you to another property or refund you for the affected time!

    Check-In

    We’ll send your check-in instructions via email and SMS at 3 pm on your arrival day for check-in from 4 pm, once your damage deposit/waiver has been paid.

    Damage Deposit

    We work closely with our property owners to protect their homes and take damage deposits for all bookings. The day before check-in (or on the same day, if applicable), you’ll receive a 3D Secure link to select your preferred damage deposit option. The full deposit is simply pre-authorised on your card and released within 7 days of check-out if no breakages or damages are reported. Guests who prefer not to do a fully refundable damage deposit have the option of a one-off non-refundable damage waiver at a much lower cost.

    Smoking

    To keep our properties fresh and clean for all guests, smoking of any kind, leaving traces behind suggesting smoking of any kind, or vaping (including e-cigarettes), is not allowed indoors. Please smoke on the street or patio area, if available.

    Noise

    To help keep things peaceful for our neighbours, we kindly ask that noise be kept to a minimum between 10 pm and 8 am. We want you to have a great time. A little consideration goes a long way to making sure everyone can enjoy their evenings (and get a good night’s sleep!)
    Not all properties can host hen, stag, or similar group celebrations. If you’re planning one, just drop us a message, and we’ll happily guide you to a property that can accommodate your group.
    Please note that call-outs due to excessive noise or parties may incur a fee.

    Pets

    Check-Out

    Check-out is by 11 am. Unauthorised late departures may incur a £50 per hour fee.

    Before You Leave and as a consideration to future guests, please:

    Wash up the used dishes.
    Bag rubbish and use the correct recycling bins.
    Return keys to the key safe (OR) Keynest location.
    Switch off the lights.
    Close all windows.
    Turn down the heating.
    These steps help us prepare for the next guests and save energy; every little bit counts.

    Age Policy

    The lead guest must be 21 or over. We cannot accept bookings where the majority of guests are under this age. If unsure, please contact us before booking please.

    A Quick Note on Deposits and Property Care

    If any of the above guidelines aren’t followed, we may need to make deductions from your deposit to cover additional cleaning or damages. We hope that’s never necessary!
