"I paid extra for a room with a view of the ocean and I'm glad I did. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious. The bed in room 13 was very comfortable. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, kettle in the room which was replenished every day. It's not an ultra-modern hotel but everything was spotlessly clean and in good condition. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. The hotel is in Hove, about 2 miles west of Brighton, and it was nice being in a quieter area. There is a 700 bus stop right outside the hotel to get into/back from Brighton center. There are also other buses two roads up that take you all over the area. You can buy an all day bus pass for £6 that let's you explore the area by bus very affordably. If I returned to Brighton, I would definitely stay here again. "
