Our room did not face the valley and so had no special view. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the breakfast was very good, especially the coffee. "A beautiful converted train wagon nestled in the Welsh countryside. Very well put together with most amenities available. Very comfy bed - small but well sized for a intimate break together. There were just a few things we thought to mention: 1. No WiFi came as a huge surprise. Personally we (and probably most) assumed there would be wifi. We would’ve really appreciated this being explicitly stated. 2. There was practically no communication from the hosts, just an empty email with a pin on...

"Nice clean large room. The fridge was a big bonus. Excellent shower which was much appreciated after a long day walking. We were led to believe from the hotel.com web site that there is Wifi only in public areas but in fact there was wifi all over the the guest house including the rooms. And it was super fast wifi. I was able watched Netflix on my ipad and all the football matches I wanted to watch. Moyra (the owner), is a lovely friendly lady, as her staff. Breakfast was fabulous,...

"We found 7 Bell Street perfect and as good as the photos. Very well equipped and tastefully decorated. Comfortable beds, and seating. Plenty of books magazines, information leaflets. Kitchen essentials Fresh milk marmalade and much more. Our hosts very helpful and welcoming. "

"I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). "
