"Our fist visit to Montrose. Lovely hotel which met all our needs in terms of friendliness, cleanliness, amenities and location. We had a very plentiful, tasty breakfast. Great atmosphere in the evening when there was a live band and a busy function suite. Have already recommended this hotel and this town to friends."

"A lovely hotel run by lovely staff. We were in the apartment which was fully kitted out and a pleasant place to spend the night. Didn't have tea there, but came back for some delicious puddings, and breakfast was tasty and filling. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel, and plan to return. Excellent value for money."

"It's not clear if you booked the one with the bathroom or not. It's just easier if they don't share the same name and same photo. The bathroom is modern, hope the hot water issue is fixed soon. Room with big space"

"The hotel hotel was nice, the room was more than adequate and the staff were great, my only complaint was it was close to a bar/club and you could hear people shouting and laughing on the street and the faint thump of music."

"We arrived late after dinner in Gino’s a nice little Italian restaurant in Stonehaven. Michelle got us acquainted and quickly checked in leaving us a nice homemade tasty chocolate treat which went great with our early morning coffee. David “Bend it like Beckham” (kidding) greeted us for breakfast leaving a plate of Scottish Pancakes that brought back fond childhood memories. Breakfast was superb.
