Only about a 10 minute walk from train station and most places walkable but also lots of buses if you want to explore. "What a beautifully unique place to stay! We were in the Gamekeeper's bothy and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clean and spacious and the wood stove kept us plenty warm! We never saw any red squirrels but I did see a beautiful jay that was so different from the blue jays we have in the US. I would stay here again in a minute!"

"Had a lovely weekend staying at Birnie Cottage. Aileen was great at giving information prior to our arrival and gave us a lovely welcome with scones, butter and jam. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The garden is beautiful and we were lucky enough to be able to sit out 2 evenings enjoying the sun and the garden. The cottage is in a peaceful location and had the benefit of woods behind it that we could walk our dogs. Although the garden is enclosed it isn't...

"The house was spacious and well appointed. 10 of us weren't falling over each other. Bedrooms large and dining room had chairs for everyone. We all especially liked the garden and patio, plenty of room for games, and the hot tub topped it off. Coupled with good weather and ability to get to Fife and Perthshire, we would highly recommend this property."
