The location is central to a number of wineries and incredible views. The Love Nest is well stocked with all the essentials and several bonuses, too! "I left after I saw the property, as a solo female traveler I did not feel safe there the front door is right by the “bed” which is a very small uncomfortable futon, I didn’t feel like the locks were secure to the front door, the bathroom was tiny you can barely even get in there, the comforter and sheets were worn and the whole place has a weird smell. It was awful I will be very careful about where I stay from now on after this experience. "

"Great location in downtown Winchester, very walkable to restaurants and stores. House is old and decoration interesting. For 3 of us for 2 nights it was just fine, if more guests and a longer stay the 1 bath tub with a shower over the tub would get old. Also no one can touch any other water source when someone is showering, blistering water comes out the shower. House was clean, kitchen perfect for what we needed."

"We were staying at the schoolhouse to go hiking and ride bikes. They house has been tastefully decorated. I enjoyed the quite community and the listening to the tree frogs at night. Front Royal has a few things you can enjoy such as the movie theatre, bakery and state park. I would highly recommend this propery."

"An exceptional property in an amazing location. One of a kind. Very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend for a quiet retreat. Be aware that it is quite isolated and bring whatever food or beverages you prefer. The cottage has a full kitchen stove, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. Lots of dishes and silverware. There is a Keurig coffeemaker and pods, etc. and a few energy bars were left out but I was glad that I had brought my own (microwaveable) dinner and snacks."
