NEWLY RENOVATED! Family and pet friendly, 4 bedroom home with amazing views

Newly renovated bright and open beach house with updated kitchen with new cabinets, quartz countertops and new flooring throughout home. 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and and outdoor shower, sleeps up to 10 with premium bedding - 2 king-sized beds, 2 twin xl’s that can be combined into a king, and a room with 2 full- sized beds. All bedding is high-quality and comfortable. New flooring throughout the house, 32” flat screen TVs in each bedroom, a 55” tv in great room with cable TV, high-speed internet with WiFi. Smart DVD player to play your DVD’s or stream Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, YouTube, etc. Reverse floor plan with bedrooms on 2nd level, kitchen/great room on 3rd level. Full-size Whirlpool washer and dryer on 2nd level near bedrooms for convenience. 2 sun decks spanning the back of the house facing the ocean on both levels, providing plenty of room for catching the sun or shade depending on which you prefer! Fully stocked newly renovated kitchen with new quartz countertops and cabinets. Plenty of cooking equipment and storage containers. Keurig and coffee maker provided. Sectional sofa and dining room chairs are updated on the 3rd floor. Great room has beautiful vaulted ceiling with views through the 2 new sliding glass doors. Charcoal grill available for your convenience too. Ceiling fans in living room and all bedrooms. New HVAC system, and remodeled master bathroom. Enjoy the spacious outdoor hot/cold shower, porch swing, large yard for outdoor activities. Beach chairs are provided. We are pet friendly— we allow for a small, well- behaved dog to join you for their own vacation ( non- refundable pet fee applies, please indicate your desire to bring a dog). Covered parking under house. Plenty of books, games and puzzles. Just minutes from the bridge at Mile Post 2. Close to restaurants (Duck Donuts is 6/10 mile away!), grocery stores, shopping, dunes, Wright Brothers Memorial. We hope you will love our cottage as much as we do and make staying with us an annual tradition. No better value anywhere in OBX! We guarantee it!

Our stay at B Relaxed was great overall. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the well stocked kitchen and beach toys. I wish we had known prior to arrival that many items most VRBOs provide were not provided here. Bring your own toilet paper, paper towels, salt, pepper, cooking oil, coffee pods, coffee filters, shampoo, conditioner and laundry detergent. I also wish the beds had been made up for us instead of linens provided in plastic wrap.One burner of the stove was broken and we were unable to open the door to use the inside stairs. Not an issue for us as it did not rain during our stay. However, the location was excellent and a short walk to a great section of beach with lots of good restaurants nearby. We would rent again.

The house has been completely remodeled since my family and I stayed there last year and the owners did a great job. It is in a convenient place on the Outer Banks to reach the ocean, stores and restaurants. Being on one street back of the old beach road makes it a quiet location in a residential area.

Girls Trip

The girls thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this amazing home. Wonderfully located with an amazing view of the sunrises. the home was very clean and provided us with sheets, towels etc. The ladies slept great on the beds. Felt like a cloud to me :) The ladies and I will definitely be going back but for a longer stay! Thank you Hietz family for opening your home for others to enjoy!

Wanted to see Kitty Hawk

We were traveling from SC to Washington DC and four this place in Kitty Hawk. The property was what we thought it would be. The furniture and beds were comfortable. It was close to a number of restaurants that were open. ( We were there during the off season). I'm was within minute of Kitty Hawk National Park . Which was better than I had hoped. We also enjoyed the view of the ocean from the kitchen area. Host were readily available to answer questions.

Quick Weekend Trip

The house was great. It actually looks better in person; the pictures doesn't do the house due justice. Very peaceful area and the beach is less than a 5 minute walk. Very clean and welcoming. We would choose this exact home again.

Amazing Place to Stay in The Outer Banks!

I am beyond happy with our stay at B Relaxed. It was probably the nicest vacation rental I have stayed in. Our party consisted of myself, my friend, and our two daughters (aged 11 and 13). We walked into the house and was immediately blown away by how beautiful the house was. The decor was just perfect. The colors and furnishings exuded beach life. It was simply beautiful. I could live in this house forever! LOL It was also exceptionally clean. The beds were very comfortable as well. It was just wonderful. The location of the house is perfect. You can see and hear the ocean from the balconies of the house and it's just a block from the beach. It took no time at all to get to the beach. The beach was so peaceful and roomy. We spent two days just sitting on the beach reading while the girls played. The house is also in a perfect location to get to grocery stores and other stores. The perfect mix of tranquility and modern convenience. The property managers were wonderful. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this house. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation in Kitty Hawk, this house is the place to book. If my plans bring me back to The Outer Banks in the future, I will definitely want to come back to B Relaxed.

Great house and location

House was as described in listing, short walk to the beach. Great view from the decks. A couple of small improvements will go a long way with guests…. Improved outdoor lighting (not all deck lights worked on top deck, carport stair light didn’t work, light by front door not very bright). Motion sensor lights would be great. Kitchen had all necessary items. Providing basic items such a extra toilet paper, dish soap and basic spices (salt/pepper) would be appreciated

Good bargain

The house was as advertised, not too far from the beach. Lots of beach equipment available. Nice three level porch. The furniture was a little beat up and the kitchen didn’t have a lot of equipment. The cabinets were sticky and the knives dull. Washer and dryer work great, dishwasher is great, outdoor shower was really nice. One small problem with the lines was easily solved by a single phone call. Good location, nice grill available. Easy instructions.

Excellent Location!

This house is in the perfect location! Super close to the beach in a nice neighborhood. The water park nearby was great as well as the Nags Head Nature preserve and the Roanoke experience. Great value for the price for this area. We had 8 people ranging in age from 10 to 60 and all had a wonderful time!

Family Vacation in OBX

Our family had a great time in your lovely home on Kitty Hawk. This four bedroom home accommodated our family of nine very nicely. There were many beach chairs, umbrella and a wagon to take all of our stuff to the beach. We especially enjoyed the outdoor shower! It was a nice quiet neighborhood and many good restaurants nearby. Would like to visit again in the future.

Premier hosts. House was perfect for the week. Clean bathrooms and kitchen but could use some updates. Anything you need for the beach provided. The views beautiful and tge sunrises were breathtaking. Will go back.

Relaxing Getaway

Enjoyed our stay and loved the location. Short walk to the beach, very quiet and peaceful neighborhood, and convenient to everything. Make note that the house was updated in 2016 so some items are starting to show wear but everything worked, which is what was important. Loved the decks and spent a lot of time there in early morning and late evening. Couldn't really enjoy the large yard because of the burrs, which we were told about but wasn't expecting them to be that bad; as some even got into the house. Kitchen was nicely equipped but could have used some storage containers and maybe a few common spices (salt/pepper/etc). I brought all my own paper supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, sandwich/storage bags, trash bags, etc) and my own cleaning supplies (dishwasher, dish washing, hand, laundry soaps) as I saw several reviews saying these were lacking. Make note that the shower in the master bedroom is very small so the outside shower came in handy with the hot and cold water; we could use that for a shower and your arms didn't hit the walls. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the beach! The house was as described. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies to cook with. The space and decor was very comfortable. We were 3 blocks from the beach, which was not crowded. The owners were very responsive to questions. We would definitely stay here again!
