"This was our first visit to Bournemouth, we were there to assist our granddaughter in her move to university and with the Chine Hotel we picked a gem of an Hotel. Arriving ahead of our check in time, we received a friendly welcome from the young lady on duty at the front desk and she informed us of all the on-site parking facilities available, so a great start. "Great hotel. Have been coming for years for an annual birthday night out with a group of friends. Guy at reception was very friendly, especially as we were concerned we may not be able to park there as no space, but did manage to in the end. Hotel is great...not the most modern, no, but homely and rooms have always been spacious, clean and welcoming. The bar/club is great for a night out. Would definitely recommend. Very close to town centre and beach too. Well done Royal Exeter!"

"An unusual place in that it was totally unstaffed, but the access arrangements were fine and the room was comfortable, extremely quiet and exceptionally well provided for. The bed was incredibly comfortable. There was nothing to dislike at all and I would definitely return, but it's a shame that with such nice facilities, ie lounge, bar, etc. the areas are not used "
