"This property is older but very nice and right on the lake with a boat dock that we used and was very happy with. The owner was outstanding to talk to and work with. The parking is somewhat limited for a larger or trailer vehicle but the owner had a place for our boat trailer next door so it was all good. Great folks !!Loved our stay! "The cabin was very comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. Sitting on the dock in the morning was very relaxing. We enjoyed daily visits from mallard families on the River and a turkey family in the yard. Definitely on our list for a return stay!"

"Great location and lovely setting. This was a well stocked cabin with all the necessary items to make for a comfortable stay. Very easy access to area attractions, a great home base for day trip travels. Being directly on the water was a super peaceful place to have coffee in the morning and lay on the dock at night to sky watch. "

"My wife and sons and I stayed here and used it as a base of operations for day trips (Mackinac Island, St. Ignace, Cheboygan). It was great! Homey and comfortable. The fire pit was great, the host provided firewood (plus there’s tons to be gathered in the nearby woods). Kitchen was very nicely equipped for a northern Michigan cabin, we cooked breakfast and dinner every day. Lastly, it was nice watching the deer eat from the fruit trees on the other side of the road. Would recommend!"
