"We had a nice stay at this cottage. It had everything we needed for a comfortable vacation. It really is just a few steps from the lake. We were delighted to have kayaks there available for our use. We had a great blue heron, a family of 5 swans, and a cormorant visit our dock. We enjoyed hiking in some nearby nature preserves, and took day trips to South Haven and Holland. The smart TVs were nice for evening relaxing. Overall a nice spot for an enjoyable vacation."

"This is a beautiful, peaceful location. A quick drive into town if you want to eat out, but a great escape if you're seeking tranquility. The view of the wetlands and the wildlife were our favorite things about it. The beds are great, and with all the windows open in the 2nd bedroom, it's almost like sleeping outdoors. Our only complaint was the overpowering liquid "air freshener" pod placed in the cottage. Unnecessary, and as someone sensitive to perfumes, this was almost gag-inducing. We...

"This little hidden gem was perfect for my husband and I. Keep in mind it is an old school, semi-rustic cabin with the necessities to make the stay more than comfortable. (We are all about the older, historic feel of places) But the surrounding outdoors…INCREDIBLE!!! We had the views and sounds of Lake Michigan from the porch and living room, deer in the yard, almost ZERO TRAFFIC down the road. Just so quiet and peaceful and wonderful. "We booked this rental last minute for our daughters’ birthday weekend with friends, and it turned out to be perfect. The home was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The setting is absolutely beautiful. peaceful and scenic, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. "Me and some of my girl friends stayed here for a bachelorette weekend!! It was the perfect location for us to earlier drive to the shops and the beach. The house definitely was older and has some miner fixes but nothing crazy! We enjoyed it a lot!!"

"Home was clean with many amenities. The yard was big with plenty to do for the kids. Great beach, good for walking and sand castle building. Bring your water shoes as lake is rocky but there is a nice sand bar just past the rocks. The water was nice and warm at beginning of week but storms came through mid-week and got very chilly. Saugatuck and South Haven are not far away and we enjoyed restaurants, putt putt and shopping. We had ages from 2 to seniors and everyone enjoyed their stay. Check in...
