"We had a nice stay at General Stanton. It’s a very cool old Inn with lots of character and was very clean. We checked in after hours so did not interact with any staff except over the phone but the remote check in process was still easy and we had no issues. Was a convenient and affordable stay for a concert in Matunuck."

"Great location. Friendly staff. Walkable to shops and dining. Private beach with bar. Rooms were clean, updated. Comfortable beds. Just a few minor issues for me, no in room coffee maker, low shower water pressure and no blackout shades. Would stay here again. "

"My stay was perfect. Even though Expedia didn't provide a real oceanfront (instead a sliver of a view), the staff and location more than made up for it. Plus there's a great communal deck with awesome view of ocean and beach. The staff were terrific. When I had my car window smashed in while in Providence, the maintenance guy cleaned it all up. Front desk women (Cassandra and Donna) were friendly and also helpful all around. Great stay. Plan on returning."

"The perfect spot away from town. Quiet with an excellent view. Suite 9 has a huge bed and a private jacuzzi. Cleanliness is off the charts as is the service, really can’t ask for more. Quick walk to Yellow Kittens and Winfield’s but far enough away to avoid the noise. Already reserved for next year… this is the place, look no further. For the car guys - safe parking so you can bring your car without worry. "
