Helpful and welcoming and only too happy to give information with a special mention to Diana in the restaurant. The location was great, with plenty of parking. I would stay here again."

"Lovely old building with smells of a proper English b&b"

"Heavy rain caused a leak in the gents onto the floor which the staff seemed to ignore, just putting a yellow wet floor sign outside the toilet door. The floor was very slippy and dangerous. Should have had a mop and bucket there."

"We felt like we were lottery winners staying at Danesfield. What a place, the staff couldn't do enough for us, the food was delicious, and our room was very comfy."

"Lovely old pub with very comfortable rooms and nice food at a good rate"

"All was great"

"Beautiful room and huge bathroom We stayed in St Julien room"
