"I really enjoyed my one night stay at Y Pengwern. The bar was friendly when we checked in, and when I was shown my room was amazed at how big it was. I was backpacking and there was plenty of room to reorganise my kit, and the bed was large and very comfortable. After a long day's walk we were looking forward to food, and were very happy with the big hearty meals we had in the restaurant. "Good location in beautiful scenery not far from some walks. On a main road but it was completely silent at night. Suite was lovely and bigger than expected, with beautiful views, and a very modern bathroom with a fab shower. The bed did have a weird slope to it though which put our feet higher than our heads! Food in the pub at dinner time was expensive and average, although breakfast was plentiful and good quality. Enjoyed our stay very much. "

"Lovely staff and excellent location. Rooms look as though they have been recently refurbished. Cold breakfast selection not as good as it used to be but good variety of cooked breakfasts on offer. I found the restaurant very cold in the evening but fine in the morning. Plenty of supplies in the room, tea, coffee, water, biscuits and toiletries etc."

"Very close to the beach, on the other side of the main road through the village. Free parking overnight opposite the hotel, though a max stay of 45 minutes through the day. "Hotel razoável pelo preço, bem localizado (a 5 quadras do Castelo de Caernarfon). Silencioso à noite, só se ecutam as gaivotas. A pesar do calor intenso desses dias, o quarto era razoavelmente fresco, por ter boa ventilação. A pesar do hotel ter SPA no nome, só tem piscina, saunas seca e húmida. Não tem massagens ou tratamentos. É um edifício antigo, bem conservado e limpo. Tem um bar razoável e um bom restaurante."
