"It was good place to stay for Parent’s weekend at virginia tech. About 30 minutes from the school. Feels slightly longer due to being in rural area but easy drive. Price was reasonable, beds were very comfortable. It gets very dark, I feel there should be more nightlights and my only issue was the scented detergent or spray on the sheets, we are all allergic to smells so it was a making us sniffy. "Salem Historic Downtown VRBO was exactly as described. It was close to downtown, and not far to walk or drive to eating locations. The three bedrooms, two bathrooms, desk room, TV room, laundry room, and kitchen, were all very clean. If we ever have a reason to go back to Salem, VA., this is the first place I would check to see if it would be available. A MUST RENT IF YOU'RE STAYING IN SALEM, VA."
