"Friendly helpful staff, comfy bed (but pillows a bit hard), very good breakfast but other guests walking past or above our room made a bit of a noise. Overall a good stay and a good breakfast."

"This a terrific hotel in the heart of the Gateshead countryside. The staff are extremely efficient and very helpful to make stay the best experience ever. The restaurant food is of a very high standard, never a bad meal yet. The only negative is that GPS systems for one reason or another can not find location. So we eventually found that if you input North Rise, it will take right to the Bowes Incline Hotel, —- go figure ! Great stay."

"A fantastic B&B in a lovely rural location but a short drive away from all amenities. On the Pennine Way and nearby Hadrian's Wall walks. Lesley and Katie are welcoming and have really considered the needs of their guests. The B&B rooms are in a building with its own lounge, which is filled with maps, information leaflets, local information and even blister kits and deep heat for those who have finished a long day's walk. Secured, free WiFi is also provided and free parking. The room we had was...

"Lovely stay with great staff and service. Really good breakfast. When it says the bed is a double it means a double. Bear that in mind if you are used to a King or Queen sized bed! Would quite happily stay here again"
