"Disappointing. We love Venture Out, arrived on Friday to trench on the right side of the unit. Saturday and Sunday was nice, enjoyed the porch overlooking canal. Monday workers showed up worked on trench, filled it in and starting digging on left side. Using an excavator, saws etc we could not sit outside. Hard to even have a conversation inside. This went on all week. They finished the trenching and paved on Thursday. Terrible!I notified host on Tuesday and she came over to apologize, very nice...

"We lucked out and had great weather during our stay. We have been to the Venture Out location before but this was our first time at this rental. The cottage is very clean and updated, it was nice to have the little porch and the sunbathing lounges and kayaks to use. If we had stayed longer we would have used the bikes. We were very happy with this rental. I loved the kitchen chandelier. Everything you need is there. The ONLY thing I would suggest is thicker bed pillows. Other than that, it was...
