"My daughter and I needed a mom, daughter trip. Lakemont Pines exceeded our expectations. The house is so well kept and quiet. It is surrounded by pine trees. There are two bedrooms each with a door leading out to a deck. We sat out on the deck at night, had a glass of wine and just listened to crickets, owls and other critters. The lake. "Seven of us stayed here for a couple of days before a backpacking trip. The house (more than a cabin) was roomy and very comfortable for all of us. The location right on the river was amazing, and we even pulled a couple of trout out of the pool right below the house. The house was clean and Jim was very helpful with questions, so the entire stay went without a hitch. Excellent!"

"We stayed for a long weekend at this cabin and it more than met our expectations. The location, near Long Barn, was very useful for access to local skiing, and it wasn't difficult to get in or out of (just be aware that the driveway is steep and relatively short in case you have more than one vehicle). "The property truly does not have any Wi-Fi or cell service. That was not a dealbreaker for me, but for entertainment, you are limited to the DVD collection that the owner has which is very large.
