"Very cute place rental and convenient to Cornell. Price was very reasonable. We would recommend this place to others and definitely stay here again. Some extra amenities would be a very nice addition such as having some extra TP, hand/ dish soap (shower soap was empty), paper towels, napkins, etc. There was coffee which was awesome-- we had brought our own so we were all set. "For someone with mobility issues this property would not work, but for anyone else this place is exceptional. With a beautiful layout that is thoughtfully furnished, immaculately clean, extremely well equipped, and ideally located both for convenience and aesthetics it met or exceeded all of our expectations. "This was a perfect place for our family to stay! The house is beautifully located and designed, offering stunning views from every room. The backyard was absolutely amazing! We were able to BBQ and dine on the deck while soaking in the breathtaking lake view. The provided kayaks and canoes allowed us to enjoy the lake to the fullest. Which there was unfortunately there was so many large black trash bags you could not get to it. The first step at the side walk was broken. And the railing inaide was very loose. "No AC that was weird but really didn’t need it fans in every room but not on living room,kitchen or dining room. House have a back yard but you can not access door is locked with wire. Tub is broken but they put a cover on it I thought it was not acceptable according to VRBO standards but in general was a good place for the value"

"Great home! Close to restaurants, shops and hiking. The house had a nice fenced in back yard for our dog. Well stocked shelves which you don’t usually have. Linens are provided. Definitely recommend this home!"

"This place was perfect! The location is very close to campus. We had lots of family coming in and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen is huge and the property is gorgeous. Bring extra towels, the ones supplied are limited and on the small size and there are no extras for the hot tub! We had a fabulous stay and I would definitely recommend!"

"We loved our stay at the Timber Garden Cottage It was close enough to downtown but too close. We loved being in the quiet outside of the downtown but loved we could fry to it easily. We will absolutely rent again when we go up to see our student. "

"The place is awesome. I loved the view of the slopes! And the whole feel is a ski cabin. The living room area was great with ample comfy seats and seats for eating at table and at island. Loved the (gas) fireplace. The kitchen was so well stocked with basics - from oil and vinegar, to coffee filters, to aluminum foil. Note that the amazing proximity to the mountain means being 15 minutes from groceries and restaurants. The one big note is that there's a cool spiral staircase to an awesome loft...

"This is a property that exemplifies an absentee owner. It was clean inside but exterior was not well maintained. Fire pit rotted through, life vests moldy and deck smelled bad. The lake is beautiful to look at but full of seaweed and has water moccasin snakes around. It does have a two person limit so it’s overpriced."
