"Our weekend getaway with friends was great! The cabin was clean, well- furnished, and in a great location to explore all the area has to offer. We did not realize that the bedrooms and main living area each have their own mini-split heat/AC, so it was a little confusing to get the temperature to where it was comfortable. Just a little different for those of us who are used to central heat/AC. Also, 2 of the the thermostats were set on Celsius and we couldn't figure out how to switch them which...

"Absolutely Great stay. The host was outstanding and responded to us very quickly with all our questions. The history and the view are outstanding. We went fishing and walked on the Forge all the way across right at our front door. One of the best places I ever stayed. Must visit Downtown Shepherdtown and Hapers Ferry. Sooo much history . Also must eat at Rock Hill Creamery absolutely the best ice cream Ive ever had."

"Incredibly charming home in the perfect location. Me, my husband, and small dog spent hours on the deck, people watching, admiring the butterflies and the scenery, and drinking local wine from the cute store across the street. Just a minute's walk to restaurants and a cafe, with an amazing ice cream shop down the steps. The house was clean and the beds were super comfortable. Highly recommend. "
