Stølesmauet is located in the very heart of Bergen city centre, in a historic and vibrant neighbourhood just behind Bryggen. It's a charming, cobblestone area defined by narrow alleyways, old wooden houses, and a distinctively local Bergen atmosphere. The neighbourhood is peaceful, yet close to the city's energy – with short walking distance to the Fish Market, Bryggen, Fløibanen, and a wide selection of caf és, bars, restaurants, and small independent shops. Public transport is easily accessible, with buses, the light rail, and the train station all within walking distance.
Getting around from Stølesmauet is easy – whether you prefer walking, taking the bus, or arriving by Uber or taxi from the airport or train station.

Please let us know as early as possible if you wish to check in early or check out late, so that we can accommodate your request. Early check-in / late check-out depends on whether we have sufficient time to prepare the accommodation for you and the next guests. We charge a fee of 200 nok early check-in / late check-out .
