"Rented this spot in Ticino and it worked out perfectly. Walking distance to a bakery/coffee shop. Had a great meal at Ristorante Sport. Migros grocery store is right down the street. Small village of 1500 people. Close drive to Lugano and only an hour drive to Malpensa airport. The views of the lake are fantastic."

"Das Haus, in der sich diese wunderschöne Wohnung befindet, liegt ein Stück bergauf, Como Innenstadt ist aber zu Fuß in ca. 30min erreichbar, die nächste Bahnstation in gut 20min. Von dort fährt halbstündlich ein Zug nach Mailand (Dauer 1h). Die Eigentümerin wohnt selber auch in dem Anwesen und kümmert sich fantastisch! "This is a unique find, we enjoyed the history of the property. Typical Italian streets to maneuver to get to the huge villa and the gate entrance is tricky with a bigger vehicle. The villa rental part is just a portion of the house but plenty of room, 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Kitchen good but if you want breakfast order in advance. English is not one of the owners languages but he uses phone to translate. There are no laundry facilities as stated on expedia but the owner generously...
