Best Coast Cottage - Just a block and a half to the beach!!!

The location doesn't get much better than this! Just a block and a half walk to South Haven's famed South Beach and Lighthouse. Located in the heart of town, this recently remodeled home is easily walkable to Downtown, the Riverwalk, and most importantly the Beach!

House has been completely updated and furnished this year. Features include a large 3 season porch, central air, stainless steel appliances, a large, fenced in back yard, and views of Big Blue from the yard! Has a large driveway for ample parking. Sleeps 8: A sets of bunks and twin bed in one room (3), a twin/full bunk set in the second room (3), and a queen in the master (2). Perfect for families, couples, or friends, to enjoy a week of making great new memories at one of the best lake towns in the country!

We loved our time. The location of the house was amazing. You could see the lake from the front yard and the river from the side yard. Was a short and easy walk to the beach and the fact we could borrow the wagon made it even easier. The house is perfect for families with kids. Two bedrooms had bunk beds which means each of my kids got their own room and the top bunk. And the added bonus of the old school Nintendo made for fun times when it was raining and we couldn’t go out. Also loved the ease of being able to cook dinner at the home and eating in the lovely 4’seasons room. We hope to be back next year at this same home because we had such a nice time.

Great location!

This was the best location in all the years of vacationing in south haven for us. Close to town, incredibly close to the beach-perfect spot with great walk-ability. We took the kids in a wagon everywhere (2 and 4). The house was clean, provided the essentials and gave access to their beach equipment and wagon which is a huge plus! We loved the fenced in yard. Overall a fantastic property that we will def consider staying at again!

Perfect little cottage

Best little house in South Haven

The property is perfect for our family weekend. It is within walking distance to town and only a couple of blocks from the beach. The 4 seasons room is a perfect place to gather with family for dinner or board games. We had a great time and will be back again.

Close to South Beach, riverfront and town

We had a smaller group for this visit and this house was perfect as it still offered walking distance to the beach/riverfront and just a slightly longer walk to town. Great mix of large and small social spaces indoors and outdoors. We put the kitchen to use for dinners in making our evenings that much more relaxing without chasing reservations or waiting. There's a mix of board games and puzzles at the house along with working record player and curated collection. Roku makes it easy to keep up with your shows if needed.

Excellent home

House was in perfect shape; clean, and adequate space for our family of 6. We loved the location, quiet area and easily able to walk to the beach and downtown. Communication with the owner was great, and appreciated. We would stay here again!

Perfect place to stay for our young family. The location can't be beat - we walked to the beach and to town with our two kids (4 and 6 yo). Great communication with the owner. We are already planning to return for another week next summer!

Quiet Great Location Very Walkable

Everything was as described. Lovely, tree-lined shady neighborhood to walk through and see all the lovely, well-kept homes and gardens. I do wish there had been a way to directly access the front porch as that was THE shady, people-watching, outdoor spot we wanted to sit at to enjoy our morning coffee and take-out lunches. Because the front door is locked, you have to walk out the garage and around the house to sit at the front porch. The backyard is visually a little barren and the picnic table was too sunny to eat at for most of the day with no shade. We did not use the yard at all. Owner was kind to text me to let us know that we could check in an hour earlier. This was greatly appreciated. Yes, I would stay here again if we return to South Haven!

Great Location!

Our family enjoyed a great week at the Best Coast Cottage! The location was great - an easy walk to the beach or into town. The owners were communicative and a pleasure to work with. Although the house is older it is charming and comfortable and we would absolutely stay here again.

Great stay!

I booked this property for a vacation with friends and it was amazing! Ben is very quick at responding & is very helpful and understanding. The house is only a 4 minute walk to the beach and just a little longer to all of the restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this house!!
