"The building is old and the exterior shows it. However, the room had been updated and was very clean and comfortable. The only complaint was that the air conditioner was also an old unit that was loud and slightly damp/moldy smelling. Breakfast was so-so. It would be good if they added a small fridge with yogurt."

"We are local but we have an adult daughter living with us so we went to just get away, relax & stay cool while he was on vacation from work. We took our dogs with us and since it was very hot, we would walk the dogs in the yards beside & behind the building and we both smoke cigarettes so we would smoke while out there. "Very nice room, excellent food not only at breakfast, the onsite restaurants dinner was excellent, don’t skip the cheesecakes. The acting Manager Courtney was kind, attentive and made you feel like you were at home. Little comforts from a coffee bar and snack basket await you outside your room. We highly recommend the Wishmaker. "
