"Far beyond what we anticipated. Warmly greeted and show to our room. Top line toiletries and added touches. Yes our room was small but well appointed and we did not plan to spend much time in the room. Wine and cheese at 5:30. 3-course breakfast at 8:30 am. Amazing! Will be back!"

The weather was perfect for spending a few days there, and the Steamboat House was ideal, thanks to its location, aesthetics, and amenities. "The property is in a good location, just a block or two from the bottom of the incline. We had a wonderful stay. Robert, the owner, made us feel especially welcome, and his breakfast was delicious. If you’re looking for a memorable experience with more personality than a standard hotel, this is it. A glass of wine on arrival would have been a lovely finishing touch!"
