"Beautiful historical hotel, the rooms were comfortable, the bed too and we liked the vintage style fridge. Because this is a historical building the walls are very thin and you can hear everything! I'd give it a higher rating but the thin walls were an annoyance. Also, no AC in the unit."

"Mitch and Michelle ( hosts/ owners) are very friendly and accommodating. We had the great luck of having our stay upgraded to the Creekside Hideaway. Regardless of which cottage you stay in your hosts will be amazing, the yard is beautiful and if we had our dog with us, she would have loved it. We were able to easily explore Olympic National Park from there and if I were ever in the area would stay again."

"What a find!! Ed's cottage is wonderful, the cottage itself is cozy and cute and the property has lovely views and beach access. Ed was very welcoming and kind and even included the tide schedule for our stay as well as local recommendations. Add in the close proximity to Port Townsend and the cottage had a full kitchen, it was absolutely wonderful. I'll be back, that's a guarantee. "

"Lovely, bright, and clean home in a beautiful and tranquil setting. Clearly there is a lot of care put into maintaining and cleaning. Four instead of 5 stars because you cannot drink the water from the tap, which we didn't know until we were nearly there. However, the owner said there is a filter on the refrigerator. The owner was very responsive and friendly. If you want to see the animals then do make arrangements ahead of time. "
