"Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Shower head was marginal and grab bars were poorly installed and caulked. Breakfast was not good, sausage was gray and scrambled eggs were just weird. Bread was dried out and no variety. No orange juice. No jam or jelly."

"For what I paid for the room I wasn’t expecting a 5 star hotel. The property is a little dated and you see that in some areas like cracks and crevices. But honestly the fastest check in experience in all hotels I’ve been to, quite and honestly don’t have much to complain about! "

"It was average as far as stays go. Ive been to better motels but ive also stayed in worse hotels. Had to ask for clean towels and a new bedspread when we arrived. The room smelled musty and the bedspread was dirty on one of the beds. The lady did get us a new bedspread and she remade the bed. They dont clean or get the trash while your there. We spent 3 nights there so the trash was pretty piled up when we left. I did use walmart bags to at least bag the trash up. Overall I give it a 3 star."

"My room was very clean. The staff was very quick at answering my questions. Parking was great. The heat and air conditioner worked great when I needed to use them. I really enjoyed my stay in Shelbyville."

"FULL sized beds- Not Queen. Wasn't aware of this prior to booking. Rooms were great, except for the small beds. It was very difficult to fit a family of 4 with an infant into the "family" advertised rooms."

" Carpet was filthy and the room wasn't as nice as pictures made it out to be. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful when we asked for an ironing board and iron."

"The room was clean and bed was comfortable for a quick one night stop before we headed home. Decor was a littke outdated but the price was right. Only complaint is that I searched for a room to sleep 5 and booked this one thinking there was a couch which it didn't have. Roll away cot was also advertised but they only had 1 and it was already in use. Thankfully we had brought an air mattress so it all worked out."

"We stayed 2 nights. The room was great. Clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and professional. Kerrie B went above and beyond to help with a couple small issues. We could not use the pool, closed for cleaning. The breakfast was good at the restaurant. We couldn’t try dinner as it was Sunday so only limited bar food. We will definitely stay again."

"At my request, the desk clerk gave me the quietest room available: one with no one above it or beside it. Before giving me the keycard, he asked if I would use the refrigerator. When I said I would, he told me that the refrigerator in that room had been removed for repairs, so he would bring a replacement. He soon did, cheerfully."

"The manager Kerrie was wonderful! We had a couple issues that she did try to fix and even though she wasn’t able to, she did what she could. This is a wonderful place to stay, the staff was super friendly and we will stay again."

"Great location, nice-dog friendly hotel. This is right off the freeway, has many places to eat nearby. We highly recommend trying The Firefly grill one block away Everyone on staff was very nice."
