“Little Salt” GREAT LOCATION on intercoastal! Catch fish from backyard

Small yet spacious. This tiny cabana is well laid out and can sleep up to 6. This cottage is great for the couple or small family that loves to catch fish right out of the back yard. This property is directly on the intercoastal with a beach view.
Master bedroom has a queen bed with tons of closet space, and smart tv. Upstairs loft has 2 twin beds and a full. Futon in living room makes into full bed. **note -cannot stand up in loft**
The kitchen has a full size fridge, stove and plenty of counter space. Living room has 55 inch smart tv.

We enjoyed our relaxing getaway. The fishing area was excellent—well-maintained, clean, and conveniently located just a short distance from the porch to the water. Although a cold front and strong winds arrived on our second night, we caught sand trout and croaker beforehand. We did have to make a trip to the store for washcloths, soap, and shampoo, as we thought those were provided. There is no TV in the loft, as described, but we used the TV downstairs. The tiny house could use some minor maintenance and repairs, but it was otherwise clean and comfortable. The owner was very responsive and helpful in addressing our questions. Over all, we had a wonderful and enjoyable trip.

The property is hard to find we were mistaken for intruders when we went to wrong property and police came to find out what happened. There are barely any fish in the inter coastal compared to the posted pictures. Overall difficult experience finding the place , got worse and scary involving the police . We left early as planned glad to leave that town

I had a fantastic stay! The house was perfect! Caught black drum, redfish, speckled trout, sand trout, croaker, ladyfish, hardhead and gafftop catfish. I would definitely recommend!
Can’t beat the sunrise.

Great stay!

We had a great stay at Little Salt. We are a tall couple with a 6' grandson, but we had enough space in the well-planned tiny house. It was great to fish from the back yard and we even took a little time to visit the beach. The community is very friendly and we felt safe. Be sure to do your grocery shopping before you get there. We hope to return soon!

First time at Sargeant...

I wanted to experience what Sargeant had to offer with fishing etc....I learned that it is pure and beautiful...there isn't much Spec trout catching, but their are big drums to catch, some croaker, big gaftops and lots of crabs...the bait shop Charlies like 4 mins from the location... Marci is a pleasure to work with and her husband Scott..I was picking his brain on diff fishing questions..my wife and 2 kids slept on the 2nd floor even if it was low ceilings, which was described, we enjoyed putting the beds together ) thanks Marci and Scott and we will be back again..got a Huge 36 inch black drum!!!!!!

Perfect little fishing cabin

Came down for a few days before Thanksgiving, had a great time! House was everything we needed and caught a bunch of different species from a ton of big blue crabs to sand trout, an eel and a small ray among others. Trophy bull red last morning I was there and was the perfect finish to our trip!

Great as usual

If I won the lottery tomorrow, I’d still stay at Little Salt in Sargent, TX. This is the kind of place a dad and his son build memories. Everything you need, but just as importantly, nothing you don’t. Wouldn’t change a thing.

Wonderful to stay and fish!

I can’t say enough good things about this property and owners. This is my second stay and I can’t wait to return. Cozy little spot with everything you need for a great getaway or fishing trip. Private area to fish is perfect and well thought out with all that’s needed. The house is clean and comfortable. Marci and Scott are awesome to work with and very responsive.

Amazing Location

The cabin was fully stocked with all the items needed for a fun getaway. The location was amazing as we fished all night and had a few nice keepers. The neighbors were also very friendly and inviting. The property host Scott and Marci were amazing as well. Communication and willingness to help was top notch. Thank you guys for a fun filled weekend. Hope to see you soon!

Great Location

We were very impressed with the host and the communication process. They were very gracious. The house is very small so seating is limited. It’s perfect for a couple or a family with kids that can stay upstairs in the very cool loft. Had hoped to get some fishing in, but the weather did not cooperate. I have a hunch it would be great fishing!
