"An overall great stay at the cabin. It was a new experience for my cousin and his wife so it was a bonus to catch very good trout in East Matagorda Bay and all the sand trout off the dock at the cabin. So without saying they are ready for another trip."

"The only issue was that the water from the tank on the toilet seemed to constantly flow from the tank to the bowl. I was able to fix that by just turning off the water. The wifi for the roku did not seem to work as well, but I still believe that is was an excellent stay."

"The title says it all, we went to sargent to have fun, do some fishing and just relax. From start to finish everything went smoothly. We had no doubt as the owners kept in contact with us as needed and were prompt to answer any questions we had. We had a wonderful stay, thanks for loaning us the crab traps as we caught plenty for bait and to eat. Make sure to bring your fishing gear, the fishing is excellent. Thank for everything."

Outside of the cold this place is awsome and we are already planning a trip back to enjoy it when it warms up. You get a little off everthing the tranquility, clean sea breeze, stars at night. "I really enjoyed my stay here. It was cozy and comfortable…it was just as advertised. The Host was responsive and very accommodating. I arrived late and couldn’t really see the numbers of the cottage, however he answered my call immediately and guided me to my booked cabin. I will definitely be rebooking."

"The people were very friendly around the site. Check in process easy. The house is a tiny house so the beds were upstairs the air conditioning does not cool off upstairs area fans were provided but they did not work. I called the number listed to contact the owner but there was no answer. My husband and I had to build a pallet to sleep downstairs where there was some type of air. The floor was filthy and there was dog hair everywhere. The bbq pits in the pergola area are all locked, the games...

"The cabin is super cute with everything you need for a weekend stay. Very clean and quiet. The San Benard River, Dollar General, and gas station are all conveniently located within walking distance. It's an easy 20min drive to the beach. Communication was easy and everyone was very kind. Highly recommend."

"We had an amazingly chill and peaceful weekend. It was a nice short getaway for my family. We played the games provided as well as others that we brought. The fireplace brought us all together and we enjoyed the time with each other at night. Beds were comfortable, clean and inviting. The game room downstairs was a hit with the kids."
