"Our family needed a quick getaway to just regroup and enjoy each other’s company. We found the perfect house to accommodate us. We came to West Virginia and enjoyed our weekend."

"My cousin and I spent the weekend here to visit family in the area. The house was perfect for our needs and the proximity to family was minutes away. The owners are very responsive and friendly. "As described, the location was perfect. We hit 4 trail systems right by property. Place was very large and had enough property for parking. First day we hired a guide, showed us a little of everything. Next 3 days rode our own. Property was well maintained great food, Indian Ridge Bar & Grill, down the road. People in area very helpfull. Will book again. "

"Very nice house with road and nearby trail access. The entire group loved the house and the location. The owners stayed in touch ensuring we were good and asking if we needed anything. Thank you!"

"This home had plenty of room for the 5 adults that went on a quick 2 night getaway. We saw deer in the yard both mornings and sat outside in the evenings with drinks and just enjoyed the surroundings. The home has everything you could need for a comfortable stay."

"We stayed 2 nights in the carriage house at the Litz mansion. Immaculate- great steam shower, comfortable bed and pillows/ Everything you could want or need! Considering places to stay in the area, the Litz house and the especially the carriage house are way better than the other options."

"Had a lovely time. House is great and beautifully furnished. Enjoyed all the rooms. Some suggestions: 1. the bunk bed room was freezing cold, might want to add a heat source 2. You should advertise that there are two refrigerators in the kitchen. We loved that, but we all brought large coolers for beverages and they weren’t needed. 3. Problem in the upstairs bathroom, the sink did not drain properly. May want to look at that immediately. 4. Those who used that upstairs bath suggested...

"The owner is very responsive to inquiries and even checked on us the following day to ensure everything with the property was as expected. The place was clean and well put together. The front porch was awesome and plenty of space for a group gathering. The grill was clean and ready for use; bring a metal flipper! The queen and king beds are comfortable, the bunk beds are great for young ones; daughter slept fine on it. The only reason why I rated the online listing a 4 vice a 5, there were...

"This was our 2nd visit to this property. Great accommodations for a group. Clean, well maintained. Close trail access. Nearby food, gas, groceries. 2 garages for sxs/atv storage. Plenty of parking. Large yard where our kids played. We would stay here again when visiting the southern HMT."
