"This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Amthweight Hall, the accommodation was excellent, as was the staff, they couldn't do enough for you.
The breakfast was 10 out of 10, and again, very helpful, as my wife wanted her coffee a paticular temperature, and strength, they bent over backwards to make her perfect cup of coffee !!
The grounds and the building, are kept immaculate.
The Spa facilities, again 10 out of 10, gym, sauna, steam room, plunge pool, swimming pool and outside hot pool, plenty...

"Staff were lovely and very accommodating when we arrived late from our hike and ensured we were settled in properly.
Couldn’t ask for anything better and offered us drinks when the bar was closed aswell.

"Room is very basic. Breakfast is basic. Nice chef though, came specially to apologise for the limited options. In general the B&B is overrated extremely overpriced. Not happy at all that I booked it"

"Loved the shower and bath combo. The lady on reception was very nice and knew the area well. Thank you for the flower petals on the bed! Saturday morning breakfast staff were great. "

"Breakfast fantastic and the staff lovely and very helpful, found spa staff curt and bordering on rude when we asked for a "float" to assist in our swim which they had in January but now claim was somethjng a previous customer had left behind. Also found operation of the spa outdoor pool buttons unpredictable ie sometimes worked and sometimes didnt. Found the reception staff especially helpful. Due to the spa being a letdown we wont be returning."

"Stayed at Low Wood Bay Resort & Spa for 3 nights and honestly… the thermal journey is the only reason I’d come back.
Rooms are pretty meh—dated and not the cleanest. We were in room 166 and there were visible spill stains on the wall (not great), but it did have incredible lake views. It was also super convenient being so close to the elevator to take you to the spa.
Read the fine print: access to the main pool (with infrared sauna + eucalyptus steam) is limited to 2.5 hours. Family time is...
