"We just returned from our stay at Moorlands over the May Bank Holiday weekend.
We were two families with three children and had hired two apartments at the property. It was a lovely and comfortable place with all the home-like amenities you could need — every detail had clearly been carefully thought through.
We arrived quite late on Friday due to the Bank Holiday and half-term traffic, but the owner, Mark, was there to greet us at check-in (well past 11pm) and helped us settle in straight...

"The setting of this BnB is absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was perfect nothing fancy just exactly what you need, we specifically enjoyed the homemade rhubarb compote! The room was part of a converted barn and really cosy. The host was lovely. "

"Deluxe Double Room, 1 King Bed: We stayed two nights, one in a nice room over top of the pool hall in the back, and another over top of the bar/restaurant facing the waterfront.
Being off season, both rooms were quiet enough after bedtime, and we slept well.
Internet was good. Breakfast was okay, good enough, but not up to the standards of a modern hotel buffet.
Parking was easy, and everything in the town was only a very short walk away."
