The Space:
We are delighted to open up our 73 m2 apartment to fellow Airbnb travelers.
The living area is bright and airy, with a large, comfy sofa, and flat-screen TV, so sit back and make yourself at home! Wood flooring, a gorgeous terrace, large windows and an integrated dining area with a table.
Enjoy a fresh beverage on the terrace while making your plans around the city! This is our favorite place in the house, make yourself at home with family or friends. You’ll find everything you need to prepare a quick meal, prepare snacks for a day out to the beach or cook up in the equipped kitchen opened to the living room.
We manage other apartments in the same building, ideal for business groups and big families!
APARTMENT DISTRIBUTION:
The apartment has a capacity for up to 3 people distributed in:
- Bedroom 1: 1 Double bed
- Living room: 1 sofa-bed
SPECIAL FEATURES OF THE APARTMENT:

- Aerobus stop to the airport right in front of the apartment, also several metro and train lines
- The terrace you can see in the pictures is shared with the other owners of the building (the apartment has a small balcony which is private for you where all the furniture is located now) ☀️
- Very quiet apartment, outside of the busy street, ideal for a good night's rest!
- 1 ensuite bathroom

The Neighborhood:
The Eixample is a modernist district that stretches from Plaça de Catalunya and includes both residential and business areas. It is the neighbourhood where you can find Carrer de Valencia, in which the apartment is situated. It’s known for its grid system of straight streets, which was built in the 1860s to accommodate the city’s rising population. There are many restaurants and cafes in this region, which is full of modernist structures with stone and iron embellishments on their façade.
The left side of the Eixample is the largest neighborhood in this district. It's a great area to explore on foot, with a wide variety of bars offering live music and local shops, as well as great terraces where you can kick back and relax over a coffee. In this neighborhood, the large number of restaurants that offer a type of cuisine with a more avant-garde style stands out. In this neighborhood there are the Can Battle¡s three buildings (currently the Industrial School), the former prison La Modelo, the park Joan Miró located in the emplacement of the former city's slaughterhouse, the bullfighting ring Las Arenas, which is nowadays a commercial center, and the Casa Golferichs.
Getting Around:
The closest metro station is Universitat (Lines 1 & 2).
The quickest way to go to the airport would be taking the bus "Aerobus" at Plaça Catalunya, in front of "El Corte Inlges". The cost is around 4.5€
Other Things to Note:
*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***
- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small city tax fee of 9.50€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation.
- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.
- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation
and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.
*** CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT ***
Check-in time is at 17:00 hrs
Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)
*** HOUSE RULES ***
1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction
2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.
3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).
4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.
5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.
6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.
7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.
Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

Amazing location!
The apartment is very cute. The balcony was nice to have. It is close to so many restaurants and subways that it made it really easy to get around. I will say they are not kidding about the noise thing because we definitely wen out of our way to be quiet but did get some feedback. However, they were really nice about it. Also, every time I contacted them they were very responsive. Overall, it was a good stay.

Our lower rating is because the shower never got hot. The location was well situated. Once we understood the door lock system it was easier.

Perfect terrace apartment for two in eixample
Top apartment accessible by elevator.,great location for one couole. we . walked everywhere from there. Comfortable bed, shared terrace but we never saw anyone rlse using it, and two small private outdoor spaces. It was as advertised! Thank you!

The appartement is nice and accurate with description. Some little imperfections with a door and hot water not so important.
Just a little concern about inmigrants living in the next terrace who stabilish a camping in the roof besides the appartement. But nothing happens fortunatly

Very nuce Appartment.
The booking and check-in was very easy. The appartment is in a good location but you have to take care to the other people wich living in this house. But for us it wasnmt a problem. The place wich is for all people living there wasn‘t used by the others. We could use it anytime we wanted. You feel safe there because of the look with your phone and two other doorsto the appartment. I would recommand this appartment for only 3 prople because the sofa isn‘t that enjoiying if you use it as 2 prople. The only thing i missed was a towel for the citchen.

Fake promotion
The property is promoted as an 860 square feed appartment with an Atico. Tha appartment is in maximum 600 square feed and the Atico belongs to all appartments in the house and the furniture are not useable. The waterheater was broken as well as the TV and the door to the bathroom could not be closed. The appartment is in a price range were these things are not acceptable. Location and neighborhood and response time of the property manager were quite good.

A number of issues. 1. EVERY TIME I needed to enter the building i had to call a help number. I spent over 4 hours on the phone during my 13 day stay trying to gain entry to the building when I returned to the apartment. I still don't know what the building entry issue was. I understand technology and security issues but for my situation, I would have liked the choice of a simpler entry system. As well as being frustrating and a complete inconvenience, I found myself anxious about leaving the building. There were days I chose not to go out for a walk or shopping knowing what I'll have to suffer through to gain entry to the building. 2. Hair dryer didn't have an intake air cover on the back of the dryer. You can see where this is going. My hair was sucked into the fan of the dryer. Besides the pain and panic I had to cut my hair to free the dryer from my hair. 3. The main reason why I selected the Sunny Atico with Terrace property was the access to the outdoor terrace. I never was able to enter the terrace. I tried 2 sets of keys, almost everyday but to no avail. I did mention this issue a number of times while on the phone (see number 1). I still don't know what the problem was. I'm wondering if someone (the host, perhaps) changed the lock? I don't know, but the listing for the property shows pictures and has written descriptions of the beautiful terrace you have access to which I didn't and this is false advertising. I would have looked for another property.

Great location, Disappointing apartment
With a little effort, this cute apartment could easily get a five star review. It has a perfect location, it’s quiet, it has a nicely designed sunny space, a comfortable bed, and ample closets. However, given the price, it provides bare minimum amenities and has not been well maintained. Upon arrival several ceiling lights were out and the bathroom sink was clogged. A maintenance man came to change bulbs and remove the bottle cap but sink still has no drain cover.
The kitchen supplies are lacking- four small drinking glasses, one fork, no pitcher, no pot holder, no dish towels, no can opener, no dish drainer, etc. The management company did respond quickly and brought more cutlery.
Bathroom is unacceptable: broken bathroom door doesn’t close at all and the shower floor has many broken tiles and a moldy floor. There is no waste basket , no shelf for toiletries, no shelf in the shower, no toilet paper holder. The living area has no table to put drinks on .The pretty patio shown in the photo is unusable since all the furniture is broken. The washer works great but there is huge pigeon nest and bird droppings next to the clothesline so laundry had to be hung inside. They charge $200 cleaning fee (more than I've paid anywhere in the world!) and they ask you to take out the garbage. This property could be very nice with a little effort from the corporate owners. I’ve stayed at VRBOs throughout Europe and this one doesn’t make the grade in its current state.
