While we didn't use the pool, it was lovely to look at. Yolanda was a terrific host. She promptly answered all our questions. Her apartment was spacious, clean, and beautiful. The location was great, a block away from the train into town. The bed was very comfortable, the washer/dryer was very helpful, and the kitchen was stocked with food and condiments beyond our expections. We highly recommend this vrbo.

Nice Host

The host, Yolanda, provisioned the kitchen with a homemade cake, eggs, fruit, yogurt and coffee. Close to train that takes you into Barcelona market & restaurants.

Barcelona stay

I recently stayed in Barcelona and had a pleasant experience. The location felt quite special, with gardens that were reminiscent of a botanical paradise, filled with oranges, lemons, and flowers at every turn. The owner was attentive and made sure we were well taken care of, even baking a delicious cake for us. The fridge was stocked with a variety of foods for breakfast, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Thank you to the owner for their hospitality.

Absolutely fabulous

Yolanda was the hostess with the mostest! She goes above and beyond, fresh baked chocolate cake, breakfast items, cheese and crackers and answers your questions quickly. This is an excellent property and perfect location close to the train station to get anywhere in the city and beyond.

Sehr schöne Tage in der Wohnung von Yolanda

Wir eine Familie mit drei Kindern (15, 12, 8Jahre) konnten fünf sehr schöne Tage in der Wohnung von Yolanda verbringen. Die Wohnung hat alles was man für einen entspannten Familien Urlaub benötigt. Der Kontakt mit Yolanda war super unkompliziert. Herzlichen Dank für den leckeren Kuchen und den gefüllten Kühlschrank.

Ideal location outside of the city

Our stay at Yolanda’s place was perfect. Location was far enough out of town to be a peaceful refuge from our visits to Barcelona. The location of the station so close to accommodation made travelling to and from the city easy. Yolanda provided us with bountiful supplies of breakfast, fruit and the most wonderful cake.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung mit guter Verkehrsanbindung ( S Bahn 3 Min zu Fuß ) in 20 Minuten ist Bahn am Plaza da Catalunya. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und behilflich bei allen Fragen. Der Kühlschrank war schon mit den wichtigsten Dingen gefüllt - hervorragend! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Nice to return to a quiet place

We loved our stay in Barcelona and our apartment was perfect! The apartment was very comfortable, and our hosts—who are friendly and accommodating—had it stocked with everything we needed upon our arrival, even plenty of food for a snack and several breakfasts. The house was clean and well decorated, and the beautiful backyard and swimming pool are both available to guests. We loved the red hibiscus bush blooming right outside one of the bedroom windows. Our bed and pillows were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked and modern. We appreciated and made good use of the dishwasher and clothes washer and dryer. The subway is a short walk from the apartment, very convenient, and there are grocery stores located near the subway the two stops before the apartment. There are also a couple of grocery stores near some of the main squares in Barcelona, so it’s good to have a couple of foldable shopping bags with you. We can definitely recommend the Casa de Flores—it’s a great apartment!

Amazing hostess!

Yolanda and her daughter were wonderful. They were generous with a well stocked frig (and homemade chocolate cake!), Great coffee (important!), ready with advice when asked, and helped us with our cab ride to the airport. The property was beautiful inside and out and provided us a respite from the bustle of the city. easy 1 block walk to the metro to the city from their home. We highly recommend our hosts.

Such a great stay

The property is wonderful. My family and I rested well, enjoyed the breakfast foods Yolanda provided, and took a dip in the pool. Yolanda went above and beyond. When our taxi arrived and was too small for all of us, she drove some of us to the cruise terminal, following the taxi. This place is a gem!

Perfect stay

A lovely property in a great location if you prefer to be out of the busy city centre. Travel in to the city was very quick and easy with the metro station just 5 mins walk away. The apartment is comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Yolanda was a very kind host, providing more than enough food for breakfast during our stay. We will definitely be back.

Yolanda is a very welcoming host and the garden is exquisite!

We stayed at this property for three months and felt at home from the start. Yolanda was super welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed, her daughter even babysat for us! The garden is beautiful and super spacious with equipment to do barbecues and paellas! I would recommend in a heartbeat

Excellent séjour

Très bon accueil. Une maison très propre, bien équipée et très bien située (à 2 min à pied du métro, qui vous emmène en 12 min en centre ville, c'est parfait) Le quartier est calme. Un grand merci à Yolanda qui a rempli le frigo avant notre arrivée (œufs, fruits, yaourts, charcuterie, jus de fruit, gâteau au chocolat fait maison etc, etc.....) Bref, un super séjour en famille ! Merci !

Wunderbar

Yolanda war uns eine wunderbare Gastgeberin. Wir werden bei weiteren Reisen sehr gern wieder zu ihr kommen. Das Objekt ist etwas außerhalb in einer sehr ruhigen, schönen Wohngegend gelegen, mit guter Verkehrsanbindung, also perfekt für Familien auf Barcelonatrip. Insbesondere Garten und Pool sind toll. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Yolanda hatte extra für uns gebacken, der Kühlschrank war gefüllt mit tollen Leckereien fürs Frühstück. An alles war gedacht, sogar an das Antimückenmittel für uns. Die Ausstattung ließ bei uns keine Wünsche offen. Auch das Parken um die Ecke war kein Problem. Wie gesagt: wir kommen gern wieder! Bis bald!

Perfect hideaway, perfect hosts!

The house is so delightful, fruit trees, pool, personable interior with all the modern necessities. It's perfect. And to make your stay that much better, the family are so kind, accommodating and helpful, it's quite literally perfect! Beautiful place and fantastic hosts!

A beautiful pool, fruit trees, and a yard made this a perfect haven in Barcelona. The train was a couple minute walk away and from there 15 minutes to city center. The hosts were FANTASTIC. So helpful and provided so many extras and made us feel SO at home! We liked not being exactly in the city center so we could relax before a day out, but get to all the sites quickly and easily. In the yard there were balls, sports equipment, even a soccer net, which made it really fun for our kids. Communication was great as well. Yolanda and her family are the absolute best!

Fantastic

We absolutely loved staying at Yolanda's property in Sarria. It had everything we needed and more! The breakfast supplies provided were delicious and plentiful - bread, meats, cheese, fruit, yogurts, etc. The garden and pool were lovely. The location is brilliant - with the station just around the corner with v easy access to Barcelona centre. We'd love to return again for longer next time!

Barcelona perfekt

Super gelegen, ruhig und doch zentral mit nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß zur U-Bahn. Die Wohnung ist wunderbar für eine Familie, Garten lädt zum Chillen nach Besichtigungstouren ein mit Spielmöglichkeiten für Kinder inklusive Pool. Der Kühlschrank ist war mit Ldckereien gefüllt; sogar einen Kuchen hatte Yolanda (muy amable!!) gebacken. Sehr empfindliche Rücken könnten die Matratzen im größeren Schlafzimmer krumm nehmen, aber die Ruhe draußen (keine Selbstverständlichkeit in Barcelona!) und die Anstrengungen der Tageseindrücke haben uns alle schlafen lassen wir Murmeltiere...

Lovely place, really homely, with friendly and helpful hosts

We really enjoyed our stay here; the apartment was cozy, comfortable, and nicely decorated, with a beautiful garden and a small private open-air swimming pool. It's a few minutes walk away from the nearest metro station, which will take you right into the centre of the city. The hosts were lovely and accommodating, and we'd be happy to stay here again.

Comfortable home with easy metro access to city center

On the lower level of a two-story building, this comfortable home provided immediate access to a beautiful, welcoming garden and cool swimming pool. Yolanda welcomed us warmly and provided a well-stocked refrigerator and breakfast area. She responded quickly when we had any questions. The interior of the home was well furnished and helped us feel as if we were in our own home. In contrast with the city center, we appreciated the calmer and quieter foothills district in which it was located. We were pleasantly surprised to reach this home using one single zone metro ticket (part of a T-10 pack) from the city center along the S2 line to the Peu del Funicular stop, which was located just around the corner. Very happy with this hidden gem in a very convenient location! We highly recommend it.

Estupenda ubicación y estupenda anfitriona

La ubicación de esta vivienda es estupenda: está al lado de la estación de Peu de funicular (2 minutos), y desde esta estación se puede coger tanto el funicular que sube a Vallvidrera en 4 minutos, como el tren que lleva a Plaza Cataluña. Y la anfitriona es muy atenta y dispuesta a hacer agradable la estancia
