This beautiful and bright apartment is located in a building that has been in my family for several generations. It has been completely renovated in the year 2015. It is located in the heart of the city of Barcelona, ā€‹ā€‹in Plaza Urquinaona 5 minutes walk from Plaza Catalunya, the heart of the city.
It sleeps 6 people, and are available as follows:
Entering the apartment, we find the fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven, hob to cook comfortably, microwave, toaster, kettle and all necessary utensils for cooking just like you would at home .
The dining room located in a beautiful independent living, has a modern and comprehensive table that seats 6 people.
From the dining room through a beautiful stained glass window, we enter a spacious lounge where you can relax after an exhausting day, it has two comfortable armchairs and a sofa bed with double mattress quality. For those moments of entertainment features a 37 "TV with satellite connection to enjoy a variety of channels.
The apartment has two suites, with an in-room bathroom. The first, which is accessed from the dining room has two single beds and a large closet where you can store all luggage without problem.
The main room with balcony, which is accessed from the lounge has a comfortable double bed large and large closet to store everything you need.
The two bathrooms have a shower and the master bedroom has bidet.
HOUSE'S RULES:
- It will not be possible to accommodate more guests than indicated when confirming the reservation.
- Respect the content and continent of the apartment.
- You must keep clean and respect all the elements of the common areas. In this sense, will ensure close the door gateway to the streets in their exits and entrances, as well as the elevator doors closed once it has been used.
- Respect the maximum capacity of people established for the elevator.
- Respect the neighbors. Do not make loud noises that may bother from 10pm until 8am.
- It is not allowed to hang towels on the balconies.
- Parties are not allowed.
- No pets allowed.
- Smoking is not allowed.
- Drugs are not allowed.
- All equipment and machines in the apartment must function properly. If not, I will do my best to fix it urgently. But no refund will be issued.
- Failure to comply with these rules of coexistence that results in damage or harm to the community or to housing will imply total loss of the amount deposited as a deposit.
- An extra ā‚¬ 20 will be charged for a check-in after 22:00 and ā‚¬ 40 for check-in after 00:00, which will be paid in cash upon delivery of keys.
- And most importantly, enjoy your stay!
PRACTICAL TIPS
Close the apartment door with a key every time you go out to visit the city. To close the apartment door securely, turn the key clockwise twice.
The instructions are attached to the inside of the access door to the apartment.

We were happy with our stay. The apartment was nice and clean. We were within walking range to most places we visited. I will concur with previous reviews regarding the level on noise from the street. You definitely have to keep the doors and shutters closed to minimize the noise from the street. This is a good choice for accommodations while visiting Barcelona.

Antonio's flat is ideally situated in the heart of the city, walking distance to the Barcelona Cathedral and Casa Batllo, and many other major landmarks, as well as places to eat. There is a large supermarket across the street that was very useful for getting supplies, and a nearby cafe, also across the street, that had delicious meals for breakfast, called Novela. Antonio was a very acccommodating host, allowing one friend staying with us to bring her luggage to the apt early to drop it off when she arrived in the morning. He was also extremely prompt in his replies to any questions that we sent him about the apt, or about how to get around the city. He even booked separate early morning taxis for us and for our friends to get to the airport and the train station, respectively, when it was time to leave. We enjoyed the lovely space to relax and rest in the evenings, and appreciated the Nescafe coffee-maker, with tablets to make our morning coffee. We would choose to return to this flat without question, if we have an opportunity to visit Barcelona again! Our stay was entirely positive.

Pros: The apartment is in an older building with a lot of charm - high ceilings, parquet wood floors, wood doors and millwork - located in a really nice, leafy neighborhood surrounded by cafes and restaurants. Perfect location for walking to many city attractions, and also close to metro stations for further destinations. Cons: Noise from surrounding apartments and lots of street noise. In particular, the front bedroom and living room face the street with balconies and large, old windows, so pedestrian and traffic noise is quite loud, even late at night. Kitchen amenities, furniture and paint could use a refresh, and TV in living room is too small, with poor sound quality, to properly enjoy a movie at the end of a long day out on the town. Overall, a 4.5 out of 5, with points off for some details noted above.

Antonio was responsive with any of our questions, helpful with area directions and recommendations. we found the apartment very clean and the pictures in the post accurate in representation of the apartment. The beds were comfortable He was flexible with our check in time he went above and beyond helping to organize an early morning cab ride to the airport. The location was convenient to all the area attractions and public transportation. If we return to Barcelona we would stay here again.

We had a wonderful time. The kitchen, dining room, and living room were spacious and comfortable. The beds were also great and we were thankful to have our own bathroom and shower. The location allowed us to walk everywhere and there was a Metro very near. We did not have a car and felt same in the area and easily used the metro and trains. Antonio was responsive and helpful. thanks for a great trip.

We spent a week in Barcelona with our two adult children and this apartment was perfect! The location is wonderful and the apartment is comfortable and provides all amenities. Antonio was so easy to deal with and very helpful about providing us with restaurant recommendations in the neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again!

This was a great location for our visit. It was convenient to almost everything yet on a quiet neighborhood street. There is a great grocery right across the street and cabs were readily available when needed, too. The apartment was roomy and perfect for two couples. The kitchen had everything we needed. Antonio is a good host. He met us at the unit when we arrived to give us an orientation and was always available and responsive before and during our visit. One note for people with physical limitations. There is an elevator, but there are two steps to access it. There are also step-ups in both bathrooms. It was not an issue for us but might be for those with limited mobility. Thank you Antonio for a great place to stay as we explored this wonderful city!

We had a great stay at Antonioā€™s apartment. He was very helpful with the check-in process, even with us arriving past 11pm. The location was perfect for us. We didnā€™t want to stay in Las Ramblas, and this area felt very safe and quiet. We walked almost everywhere and when we needed to go further, the metro station was just around the corner. It is the third time we rented this apartment for our stay in Barcelona. It is very well located - close to everything you want to visit and also on a reasonably quiet street. The apartment was clean and had all the amenities needed. The owner, Antonio Mila-Sala made the check-in and out process quite easy. All in all a very good choice, a place we will use again when staying in Barcelona.

Nice apartment. Very conveniently located. Nice restaurants across the street too. Antonio was very helpful and his suggestions for restaurants and the market (left, left, left ;) for the 2-level nice one) were helpful. We had tons of fun seeing all the sights and walked almost everywhere. The dryer was hardly needed since clothes dried quickly hanging outside. The one thing to note is that the front bedroom is quite loud even with all the shutters (including outside ones) closed. Minor but extra towels for a 5-night stay and a spatula (we made breakfast every day) would have been helpful.

Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt sehr angenehm. Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral und enthƤlt alles, was man in einer Ferienwohnung erwartet. Das Elternschlafzimmerfenster zeigt zur HauptstraƟe und es ist entsprechend auch nachts sehr laut. Leider hat der Check in nicht wie abgesprochen geklappt. Es hieƟ, dass wir bereits frĆ¼her unser GepƤck abstellen dĆ¼rften. Entgegen der Vereinbarung mussten wir jedoch Ć¼ber zwei Stunden warten, bis wir in die Wohnung durften. Am Tag der Abreise hat uns die Reinigungskraft bereits um 08.30 Uhr herausgeklingelt. Auch das war nicht abgesprochen.

The host was extremely helpful with questions that we had about our visit to the area. The apartment is in an excellent location and is within a short walking distance to many sights and restaurants. In addition, the apartment also has convenient access to the metro and bus stops. It was a very spacious accomodation and we greatly enjoyed our stay.
